Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Macon West

In the middle of nowhere. The breakfast was not good. The waffle batter was spoiled. They replaced it immediately but that is not good! Backed were stale and tasted moldy. Room was adequate for the price.

We won’t be staying in Macon, Ga. Any time soon.

Great hotel. Very comfortable. The guy that checked us in was super nice & even called once we got settled to see how things were. I will definitely stay here again!

The king bed was excellent. The TV was good size. The room was clean and the facility newer and nice. Breakfast was OK. Scrambled eggs and Turkish sausage were a less than desired, though adequate. Coffee was quite good. It was relatively quiet, though not many were staying the night we did. My biggest concern was with check-in. Although there were two card readers on the counter, I was asked to give the attendant my physical credit card for incidentals. (I had already provided that online for the reservation.) He said the readers were slow. I’m just not in favor of giving my card to anyone unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Comfortable room, okay breeakfast, goos location

Reasonably priced, friendly staff ... tile floors needed a scrub.

A good hotel off I75 for enroute travelers from Michigan to Florida.

Could improve on the cleanliness

This is NOT a typical Country Inn and Suites. This is a recycled hotel rebranded and does not do justice to Country Inn and Suites. I chose this one over others nearby when though more costly - because I expected the branded version - and was quite disappointed. Breakfast was awful. Property is run down.

The staff was very nice and professional. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was as expected and fine. The only negative would be some needed maintenance on the tub/shower curtain rod that was tilted downward and would not allow for the shower curtain to stay in the closed position. However, I would use this hotel again if staying in this area.

It was a great hotel. New refurbished hotel. Great breakfast before heading the road. The front desk staff was amazing.

Apparently a newer hotel / very clean. Excellent service and included breakfast was good.

Upon arrival i toled the person who che ked me in i woyld pay with a different credit card, he said o.k, when i checked out the rude person said that i could not do that and my card was allegedly charged and nothing could be done, sucks now i have to explian to my empolyer whay i did not use the company card, peobly wont get my money back, asked for a printed receipt and she said she couldn't it would be in an e mail, at this time 4 hours i still dont have one..

Staff was super friendly. Hotel is supposed to be new but it is in terrible condition. One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Would never stay there again.

PROS - Nicely renovated hotel, and the room was large, clean and comfortable. It was quiet (though there were just a handful of guests in this off-season). The front desk clerk weekdays is very nice, and the management family is on-site all the time. Plenty of restaurants nearby but would suggest driving. CONS - Very run down and distressed area of West Macon; the corner Circle-K is swarming with homeless and rough lloking folks, and driving East towards town saw dozens of closed and dilapidated buildings and businesses. The hot breakfast was poor and I stayed 3 days and it was the same serving each day - they ran out of salt so eggs were bland, even though there is a WalMart just a few blocks away. A housekeeper literally walked into my room uninvited at 7:45 am.

The property is great. Area around it is run down. It motel is nice but the price is right

The room was nice, however it was extremely hot and when I say that I mean so hot we were unable to sleep at all. The thermostat did not work and we were unable to turn on any cool air, literally felt like we were baking in our own skin in the room. Discovered that even though we had turned it to air conditioning it was still putting out heat. It was close to 80 in our room and stayed that way even after we turned the unit completely off. Made the night a miserable stop over. Seems they have “central control” over the temperature at this facility no matter what you set your own thermostat to and obviously are not concerned with comfort of their guests. Very disappointing to leave exhausted in the morning with a long drive ahead. Would have slept better in our car. The fresh morning air never felt so good when we stepped outside the hotel.

The check in was very quick and easy. The blankets were very warm compared to most other hotels. I had a good nights rest

It was a good stay. I would stay again.

There was hair on the wall of the shower. Mold on the bagels
