Crowne Plaza ATLANTA - MIDTOWN, an IHG Hotel

We arrive to our room and the air conditioner was broken. Had to call several times in a span of a couple of hours to get someone to come up and fix it, and when someone did come it didn't fully work afterwards. The room stayed mid 70s even though we wanted it cooler. Luckily we only had to stay one night. only had

Honestly the stay was only ok because there was mold on the bathroom ceiling of our original room so they changed our room to a super nice suite. The parking was super inconvenient because the options were either valet, which was ridiculously priced, or take your chances trying to get across a busy intersection. All in all I’ve stayed in better.

Room smelled moldy/wet. I let the Front Desk know and all they did was spray it hours later. The scent never improved. They never followed up to ask about it. The included breakfast was not good at all. When we checked out, they charged us an extra $100 without telling us I had to call after seeing it on my credit card to be refunded. Unfortunately would not stay here again. This is my second time staying here in under a year.

Room smelled heavily of mildew. It looks to have been flooded previously? There was staining outside the door. Mold growing on the bottom of the dresser. If we had noticed the mold before the morning after our stay we would not have stayed. My daughter did not need to breathe that in all night. Room was very loud from the traffic outside. Lobby convenience store only had red soda, mello yellow and root beer. No milk for the daughter. Ice machines on the floors are not functional. Staff wouldn’t give us more than two towels for a three person stay.

Nice environment

Check in took over 30 minutes even though 4 pm in the afternoon and it took a long time to get the car from valet the next day. I was one of many frustrated customers. Your staff was a mixed bag. Several were super helpful and others were defensive a rude about customers not happy with the delays. The room price was great, Maybe too great. The property has obviously seen better days.

This hotel is perfect if all you care about is location. Its literally in the center of everything, so it wont tale long to get anywhere (barring Atlanta traffic). However this hotel has 2 major flaws. One is parking. There is no hotel parking you habe two option valet or a parkimg garage that you pay for each time you leave. I spent ober $150 in parking for 3 nights. Two the hotel is also very noisy. Not the inside but you hear everything outside of it. So if you're looking to get some r&r this isnt the place for you.

I liked the Lobby area. I didnt like that the ice machine wasn't on my floor. I didnt like that I had to ask for toiletries and towels everyday. I didnt like that a person staying at this hotel had item's stole from her room and someone broke into someone's car in the garage.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The check in process was extremely easy and quick. The room was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the room was advertised with a balcony but it was not accessible. The amenities were nice as well. The lounge by the pool area was comfortable and offered a great view of the city. We did have a major issue with valet as they lost our key. However the attendant Larry took his time to help look for us. While the key attendant Roslyn gave a very nasty attitude about helping and tried to place the blame on my husband and I. A issue that will be addressed with the valet company. Overall a really nice hotel to stay at while in Atlanta.

Desperate need for a remodel

There was only one towel in the bathroom and no curtain liner in the shower so water got everywhere. The balcony was restricted even though the website highlighted the balcony as a feature. We couldn’t adjust the AC and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken

While our stay had some significant issues, I wanted to highlight that we left a positive review on Google because of the exceptional service we received from Ramona at the front desk. She truly made our stay worthwhile, going above and beyond with her kindness, care, and recommendations for local attractions and dining. She was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we are grateful for her help. However, we did encounter some serious issues during our stay. When we arrived in our room, the bathroom was flooded. We used the only two towels provided to clean it up, and I personally had to repair the shower knob myself. We called for additional towels four separate times and unfortunately, never received them. Due to my son’s medical condition, he was unable to leave the room for a couple of hours, and I had to stay with him. As a result, we had no choice but to eventually go out and locate housekeeping ourselves to obtain fresh towels. Additionally, there were some other concerns, such as peeling paint on the walls, musty conditions, the absence of ice machines on the floors, and a non-functional TV. Most notably, we were unable to keep any of my son’s medication cold, which is necessary due to his condition. This required us to make frequent trips to the lobby and the bar (when it was open) to get ice to store his medication.

The hotel is mid town of Atlanta. It’s convenient and clean.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend and let me just say I wouldn’t allow my dog to stay at this place. We didn’t have clean towels for 3 days. The first day the towels in our room were dirty we went to the front desk and told them and they stated they didn’t have any clean towels and were washing them. This was what they stated everyday after Friday. We had to buy our own towels to use which is crazy!! The hater was also not working in other room. They didn’t not come in our room one time to clean the room or bathroom. This is a big no no and corporate should be contacted. The ice machine was broken and they didn’t have any ice buck in the room. The valet attendants were great and one of them left our car outside running when we handed them the keys because no one came out to greet us. This place is NO STAY for myself and family! I wish I had read the reviews before booking! When I checked out this morning I spoke to a manager who stated they would get in contact with me for compensation! We will see how this goes! I am also calling corporate in the morning. Something should be done about this hotel!!
