I only stayed one night because of an event in Brainerd. I found it odd that I was asked to deal with my own garbage, but if thats what it takes to stay here again for the same event next year, that is no problem. Communication overload but I understand now since there's no one there checking guests in. Love the security coded door... took me a minute to figure out, but that's human error. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Would recommend to anyone!

Great location to relax, but you get work completed. The owners were great on giving recommendations for dining for both dinner and breakfast. Rooms have great space allows you to work and relax.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was great for our one-night quick trip up north. It had been recommended by a friend. The kitchenette was really convenient. The bed was comfy, although a little harder than what we are used to. We were surprised at how quiet it was right on the main road going through town. You could hear people's voices through the walls though.

We stayed for 1 night,while traveling. Personal access worked great. Nothing fancy but a great place for drive through night. Arrived at dark and had some issues finding it because the road its on splits further back. Checked it in the morning to see where i had gone wrong. Now i know.

The room was nicely presented and clean. The AC is adequate and we were comfortable in the bed. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed more coffee and soap. It’s not new, but it’s clean and roomy. We will stay again when we return to the area.

Check in was easy but at 11:10 PM a young man knocked on our door and showed us his phone displaying his reservation. Since we are in our late 70s we didn't argue but packed up & went home arriving at 1:00 AM & having to cancel our Saturday morning breakfast with family.

We enjoyed the fresh clean feel of our room. The hallways could use updates. The locks for rooms and entry to the property made for a safe stay. Great bed and tv. Really appreciated having a kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, microwave and dishware. Bathroom clean with necessities. All in all a place I can recommend and would stay at again

Pictures are deceptive. I can appreciate that the owners have tried to renovate the property however the interior stairs and hallway were off putting. The bathrooms have not been updated. There was an overall feeling of “roach motel.”

This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). This meant a nice big tub even if it was pink from another time! For the price, location, and friendly service if you can handle the noise of hearing those in the rooms around you, this is a great stay.

Our stay was good, the only few complaints I had were there was a lot of other people’s hair in the bathtub, there also wasn’t very many directions or signs to tell you where your supposed to go since there is no office. The room we had was super cute and it was nice and quiet.
