We had an amazing stay. The venue was remarkable and beautiful. The room was clean, the restroom was clean, the showers were hot and the ac/heater worked excellent. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The young lady at the welcome desk was very pleasant. The only thing that fell short was the service and quality at the club restaurant. The waitress was very new an inexperienced. She also wasn't very good under pressure. We gave her grace and were very understanding, but that portion of the night was a let down. We paid our bill and moved into the bar area and did get better service, however, the bartender had to keep disappearing to help the waitress with her tables. I was not impressed with the quality of the food for the price paid, but I will give it another try on my next visit.

I really don't know why I keep staying at this hotel, I guess because of convience. However, everytime I stay there, there is always a problem, last time the tub would not drain, this time no hot water. Giving it the Wyndam name hasn't made a difference in how outdated the hotel is. I wont say I will never stay here again but I will look for other places first from now on.

The room, staff, and stay in general were all fine. Pretty average. The only complaint would be the breakfast served in the hotel. It left a lot to desire. The price was $15 for the same “simple”(i.e. liquid carton eggs, microwave bacon, and orange juice) but free continental breakfast you’d find at any other hotel. I’d gladly pay a little more for a decent breakfast. Especially when you’re being charged for it. Other than that stay was fine.

Me and my wife having been coming here every year for the last 7 years. We have always had a great time and long staying a couple days. The food and service is amazing and the new golf course is stunning. The hotel could use a make over and cleaned up a bit but overall we love coming and will continue to come for many years.

The property is beautiful and a picturesque location on Toledo Bend but needs serious maintenance and updating. The problems are obvious and in plain sight but seem to have been overlooked for years.

Upon entering our room it was clear the cleaning wasn't completed. The bed looked as if it has been slept in. Covers pulled back and the pillows were scattered. There was trash in the trash can and removed clothing tags in various locations. All the dresser draws were opened as in various degrees and the "non" smoking room reeked of cigarettes. We were moved to anothe room. This room appeared that housekeeping had done it's job. However, if you are staying for quality internet service. Forget about it. Also, the cable TV was very limited and the service was like cable from the 90's.

The grounds and the lobby are really nice. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is very much in need of renovating. When you walk in the Hotel, the lobby and elevators are dirty and have rotten baseboards. We stepped into our room and smelled a mildew odor, the carpet was old and stained, the drapes are stained, the tile shower has dirty grout, the shower nozzle was broken and had to call maintenance to replace it.

We attended a wedding at the resort it was beautiful! The resort accomodated evey request! It was clean the staff were friendly! The list of ammenities go on and on! This resort has a breathtaking view of toledo bend! We will definetly be returning for a longer stay!

We had a great time at Cypress Bend Resort. This was our second time staying. They actually didn't have the original room I booked but made sure to accommodate me, my husband and four kids in a suite that fit our needs.

We have reserved a room with two queen beds and were told at check in that we were switched by the manager to a king bed. This was AFTER we went to our room. We had to initiate all the conversations with the resort and were never offered any sort of compensation for the room switch. Needless to say, sleeping on a couch instead of a bed is not what I paid for. I would not recommend staying at this resort as they will not address their mistakes and offer to fix them
