Days Inn by Wyndham Cave City

After reading the reviews we stayed, with trepidation. But had a very pleasant stay! Room was clean & smelled fresh. I especially like the large bathroom. I agree tho, prefer hard floor, carpets can hide a lot of dirt & germs.

At $175 for 3 weekday nights, this is a great deal, better than I expected. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. While some people might like more for breakfast, considering the price I paid I was quite happy with it, bagels and cream cheese, bread, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, packets of donuts, apples, juice, the coffee wasn’t the best, but as someone who travels for work I can say it was far from being bad. If you like antiques and walking, this is the place for you, a 3 mile loop around town and back to the hotel will have you hitting 6 antique and thrift shops. I was in a room to the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet.

The beds were decent, and the rooms were fine. Stay was well worth it for the price. Pool was a little dirty, but not anything close to unswimmable. The early check-in was nice, but I didn't agree with the extra fee for it. Didn't feel it was necessary as there was almost no one there, nor did they need to clean the room quickly or anything. Just a fee that was unnecessary. Generally happy with it overall. Breakfast left plenty to be desired, so we went to Watermill restaurant, which was less than a mile away. The location is great for Dinosaur World.

Do not recommend anybody staying here.Was checked into wrong room upon arrival and then asked to move by manager the next morning when I had to get key reprogrammed .He even threatened to charge me more like i had done something wrong . We was moved to a different room with a broken bed and mold on ceiling and filthy.Lamps shades were shredded and blankets were dirty.They do not provide do not disturb signs and everytime you leave a group of people go into your room and look around. Have proof of this and can post if they would like to deny.They even took boxes and threw them away from items I had planned on exchanging for something different but could not anymore but did not bother making the beds or actually housekeeping.No trash cans outside for trash from room .only 1 ice machine and did not work .All the breakfast items are out of date by over a month and coffee like water. Do stay here and if you do then dont leave anything valuable or any person information in these rooms and good luck

One of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Management should be embarrassed. For starters I was given a room that hadn’t even been cleaned from the guests stay. Dirty sheets on the bed and used bath towels on the floor. As soon as I walked in there was a horrible musty odor. I went back to the front desk (front desk woman did provide decent service) and said I need a new room. She did accommodate me and apologized which I appreciated, but when I went to my new room the smell was even worse. The new room was at least ready for a new guest but they didn’t change the toilet paper from the last guests. They have a very clear mold/mildew problem throughout the walls of the hotel. The only way I could hear to be there for 1 night was to crank the AC as high as it could go to mask the smell and slept freezing the whole night. This place is truly disgusting and the whole building needs to be gutted and remediated for mold. Shame on the owners for subjecting guests to dangerous health issues.
