Absolute hell-hole The first hotel room given to us had an overwhelming scent of cigarettes and smoke, despite being a “no-smoking room”. On top of that, the AC did not work so we requested a new room. The room we were given next was better, but not by much. The sheets weren’t clean, and contained holes from cigarettes, the supposedly clean towels had hair on them, and the whole place looked like it was falling apart. The door to the room wouldn’t even shut completely and there were punch marks in the walls and doors. How this establishment is still up and running is beyond me. Oh and of course, the AC stopped working after a few hours (but by then it was too late to ask for a different room.) At night, people were banging on the doors. Literally banging on our room door and shouting. It was terrifying. Needless to say, we learned our lesson about cheap hotel rooms. Never again. I encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Nothing is worth putting your family’s safety at risk.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location to the historic downtown strip. The pictures portray this to be a clean chain hotel, but that is far from the truth. Where to start... We walked into a room that had no AC running even though the temp was 100 plus outside. It took over 12 hours to get cooled down at max setting. There was no remote, and after asking twice to get one, we gave up. The shower took over 30 minutes to drain, and there was almost no water pressure. The exhaust vent in the bathroom had no cover and was absolutely disgusting. There were used pillow cases left in the room from the previous guest. The pool that is portrayed on the listing as open and clean, well let's just say that it was covered and had been for a while, as there were weeds and dirt all around it. This location clearly has problems with rift raft, as a sign at the desk portrays that all locals from about 10 nearby cities must pay a $150 cash deposit. Our door was knocked on at two different occasions by random people, and the door barely locked to begin with. This entire facility looks like it has not been cleaned or updated in well over a decade. If we had not prepaid for the room, we would have left immediately. Lesson learned, this is one chain hotel that is not holding up to the standards of the brand.

WARNING… do NOT book a room here. I repeat do NOT book a room here. Upon checking in, the area had a few unsavory people loitering around the hotel from homeless people to what look like sex workers. Inside the room, it looked low budget, lack of pride in the facility, and ROACHES. Killed two roaches along with finding several other live ones running around the room. The management refused to accommodate in any kind of way and they called the cops on me to get me off the property. This is not a hotel for families or anyone with standards for that matter. Roaches found on floor, bed, lamp, toilet, shower, and AC unit. I asked for a refund several times and they refused to refund me my money. They don’t care about the facility or you. They were willing to leave me stranded on the street with no money to get another room anywhere else.

Worst hotel I've ever been to in my life. This place should be condemned. Everything the other reviews are saying are true but I want to point something specific out. The staff here lies to people to try to get them to accept rooms they know haven't been cleaned after the previous guest had left. I had a reservation and was told they had no rooms due to "water damage" but that they might be able to find something. They offered me a room where 3 guests had "only stayed for 15 minutes". I took a look and besides being generally disgusting both beds were a mess and a mystery substance was spilled all over. I declined the room. After reading the other reviews though it's clear that it wasn't sone recent water damage that caused them to have fewer rooms available because guests report this same thing happening to them years and years ago. The front desk people are nice for sure, super nice while they lie to your face and create a situation to try to get you to pay for a room that hasn't been cleaned or sanitized. Shame on the staff that works here. Absolutely bankrupt of morals. Absolutely do not stay here under any circumstances. I was able to go a block down the street and stay at a decent place for the same price as this hell hole.

Just don't. Reserved a room online. Checked in and was given a completely different room. The lady at the front desk was very kind and understanding and gave us a different room with a king. Entered that room to see it was never cleaned from the previous tenants. The sweet lady came to the room in shock of the situation. I asked for a refund and found a more suitable replacement for our needs. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's a shame because the location is prime. Once again the woman on shift was outstanding.
