I went for a school related visit to Norfolk, stayed here and the room was disgusting. It smelled. I arrived late and I they did not have any other room. I could not leave because I was afraid for my safety. I had just fallen asleep and I heard loud knocks at the door and it was the police looking for a woman. After they scared me straight and realized I wasn't that person. They apologized but I could not fall asleep again. Then at 2/3am a man was arguing with a female and proceeded to turn on his vehicle with rap music. I am a young woman in her 30's, I don't mind rap but this visit was a nightmare, not to mention I was walking dead at the medical conference the next day.

The elevator didnt work so we had to cart everything up 5 flights of steps! The room was clean but the comforters on the bed were old and ratty with snags and holes in them. It was the cheapest on short notice but you get what you pay for, sad they didnt bother yo buy new comforters at least. Ill be contacting Wyndham as a member to let yhem know there brand is being represented poorly.

Sheets were stained, cloth covered chair was filthy. Could hardly understand staff. Door was very drafty. Tv had a green line on screen from top to bottom. I knew it was a low standard place so I had bought my own linen and a can of Lysol. Smoking rooms were on 5th floor and the elevator didn't work. So we got one on 1st floor.

It was just ok. Room had holes in the walls. It was our second hotel of the night bc the first one was just unbearable. So we felt as if it couldn’t get worse. But if I had more time I wouldn’t have stayed here. The staff was ok. I asked for a first floor room bc they don’t have working elevators bc my elderly mom couldn’t do stairs. He first stated he would be unable to accommodate but that changed when mentioned my mother.

I liked the price per night for this hotel. However, this hotel needs a deep cleaning and up to date furnishings. They need a regular exterminator because roaches were in my hotel room. Both queen beds had dirty sheets. The bathroom sink pipe was leaking. I had to put one of the trash cans under the pipe to catch the water! Honestly, I got what I paid for.

As we checked-in it was discovered that the toilet seat was broken. The issue was reported to front desk two consecutive days but it wasn't fixed. Also, request for change the bed sheets was ignored.

There's homeless people around always asking for money. Im not heartless I bought them some food. But really. Im not happy with my stay. If i could rank it 1-5
