Floor in room was stained and dirty, no hit water for the shower, one elevator was broken and the only smile I saw was from the night auditor at 12.30 at night. Will not be returning.

Poor system management. Since 7am, workers have been in the hallway using machinery that is very loud. I have not been able to sleep or comfortably enjoy my morning due to the loudness of the machine and their conversation.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve been too. The hotel is under construction for renovation in the first floor, no big deal. However the rooms are not kept up with, everything is old and worn and not clean, floors were torn, and shower tiles were crack and missing. Everything was just old and yucky, we definitely wish we would have booked somewhere else.

we were a bit disappointed in the price. When we saw that we could easily have gotten this for $170 but we were charged $235. When we arrived at the hotel and ask them about it, they said that it was a Hotels.com price not theirs so it was kind of interesting to find that out aside from that we were given Early and Entry to the hotel because we arrived early into town which was nice. The place was clean. The people were cordial and we enjoyed that they had a bar and restaurant within.

The people at the front desk were super nice but the hotel over all was not good. The room we stayed in was not vacuum there were rocks everywhere. It was $22 for the breakfast that hardly had anything and the hotel needed an upgrade over all.

It’s a very nice hotel. Like all Hilton hotels you Hagar to pay to park. Sparkle (yes that’s her name!) was awesome. Definitely lived up to her name. I do have a few observations…the warm cookies you get at checkin. Nice until you get to the room and they are cold and hard. The bed was big but way to soft! Pillows are super soft as well. The room we were in was on top floor which we prefer, but only one elevator working and it was the service one! Our bed felt like the head was in a hole! Could no get comfortable on it at all. Not a bad stay will probably not go back as I’m opposed to paying to park myself!

Overall, the stay was what we needed prior to going to the Port of Galveston to embark a cruise ship. I elected for breakfast to be included in our rate, and it was a nice continental breakfast. The room could have been cleaned better. There was only one towel in the room. Someone prior to us made a mess in the toilet and itwas obvious the cleaning team missed. I always travel with cleaning and disinfectant, so I was able to do it myself. Parking lot was well lit.

My fault… I thought I had booked at Tru Hilton. I missed we had to pay for parking. I also presumed we’d have a FREE breakfast. Very disappointed in those two things. It affected our stay @ $18 for breakfast buffet. Our first time being away in over 8 years. Celebrating our wedding/Christmas Anniversary. Retired & on a fixed income. Feel like you milk every penny out of us. Carpet is nasty & old. Also lots of painting, taping, people & a mess going on.

I have stayed at many Hilton properties and this was not even close to their normal standard. The building itself looks rundown, the elevator and hallways smell musty and we had the worst service in the dining area as well.

Nasty! Carpet had paint on the floor carpet had snags one side of the bed outlets didn’t work, clock didn’t work, bathroom fan nosing, main elevator didn’t work! Crap hole!
