everything was phenomenal

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Go down a couple of escalators from the lobby and you're at the entrance to the DC Metro subway and bus stations. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and refreshed daily. There were few amenities, they had a bar that was never open, breakfast was so-so, the only vending machine was for drinks, no snacks. We did not use the pool or fitness room, but they looked decent. We have stayed in cheaper hotels with more options, but this was still a nice play to stay. Looked they are doing some updates.

Pros: 1) spacious rooms:living room tv and bedroom tv and kitchen 2) comfortable beds 3) good location Cons: 1) construction at the property. We had to switch rooms to 8 th floor, but noise was still there. Their website doesn’t disclose this important information 2) Service is extremely slow. Front desk might never pick up the phone or it takes forever for someone to answer it 3) Dirty elevators and dead roaches in the glass ceiling above elevators 4) breakfast wasn’t good: old hard pancakes. Staff was rude when we arrived at 10:05 since the front desk assured us that breakfast was till 10:30. What a mess!!! 5) 30 dollar parking fee per night for guests. It’s outrageous 6) loud loud loud loud place to stay in. We will be flying to Washington DC in spring and will look for another place to stay

The property was nice but in the middle of renovations. The area had a good selection of food. There was some shopping for the ladies mostly. The employees were nice and helpful.

Loved the room-unusual layout and design-very modern. Staff was great…friendly and helpful. Gym and poo were exceptional!

My major complaint is that the hotel shares the pool area with a kids' swim class that takes up multiple evenings on the weekend. The swim class is from 3 PM to 6 PM from Friday to Sunday. This was NOT disclosed, and it soured the evening for my friend and me when we wanted to swim, only to find a room full of screaming children. The pool room's floor tile is also unsafe and extremely slippery when wet. I almost fell twice when trying to leave the room. The jets in the hot tub are broken, which was very disappointing. I would not have booked this property if I had known this, and I don't think I will return if these are permanent arrangements.

I picked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. I called in advanced to make sure the hot tub was working and to find out where to park. When I arrived at the hotel, I was somewhat confused about where to go. The entrance was on the first floor. The desk was on the second and the restaurant was on the third. Getting from the parking garage back to the hotel was also confusing hotel offered three wines at the Manager’s evening reception. However, one of them was sold out there was a sign by the hot tub that instructed how to turn it on, but I could not find the button and I could not call the desk from the house phone. Eventually, the engineer showed up and he said the hot tub was not working. There was also some algae and mold growing on the floor and the tile was very, very slippery. The light in my bathroom did not work when I first arrived. But engineering fixed it while I was up at the hot tub. The phone was not plugged in when I arrived. Breakfast was mediocre. They offered scrambled eggs, French toast, hashbrowns, and sausage and bacon on the hot bar. I was also cereal and some juice and some bread and English muffins. The hotel provided a list of walkable restaurants. There was quite a number of places to eat, diverse menus and prices.

This property has gone downhill over the last three years I have been going there. And I am there at least 3 times a year. The rooms are clean but they’re starting to show their age. The more concerning issue is that there is no crowd/people control after hours. The last two times I was there, but more so this most recent stay, there have been several hotel guests that just run amok. From teenagers to adults. Screaming, yelling, running up and down the halls and blaring music at 3AM. Hotel staff did nothing about it. It wasn’t until my fiancée opened the door and said - REALLY?!?! that they quieted down. Time to find a new convenient hotel from now on.
