Was convenient from the airport, easy access to UNM.

The staff was intent on getting extra money or if they're being payed commission, which I highly doubt. However, they took every opportunity to charge me extra even going so far as to say that I had booked. The "wrong room". Unbeknownst to me one staffer even went as far as circumventing the Expedia app and charging me for the room directly through the hotel. The entire room was infested with roaches. This will be my first and last stay with Extended Stay Suites Albuquerque Airport.

Customer service was great, Mack was really nice and personable! Walking into the room at first glance it did not look too bad but the floors were so gross! Looked like they had never been mopped! There was built up gunk on the sides of the bed. The sheets did look new but the pillows were horrible. No cushion at all. The desk chair had some very questionable stains on it. If ever in the area again we will definitely be choosing another hotel.

Drove all day to get here and finally arrived at 1 am and couldn't check in. Apparently they were doing a night audit and system shuts down during audit. Told to sit in car and wait. Ive traveled 30 years on business and have never had an issue checking into a hotel. We waited 25 minutes and went to another hotel. I would like a refund of this charge.

The room was spacious, but it was dirty and whoever the maid was did not clean the entire room. I feel like the more I look the worst it got and the shower drain was backed up.

Dirty. No blankets in a freezing room. Had to wait outside in the cold for 2 hours before checking in at midnight due to computer system not allowing checkins.

Near the airport. Poor quality. Room was not equipped with the necessary items. The heater was very noivyj

We had a reservation, but ended up needing to simply upgrade to two queens instead of one. I called and told them the situation (last minute add-on for the holidays), and they basically laughed at me. I offered to pay whatever the upgrade fee was. They said my one bed was un-refundable and in-modifiable, and that I would have to buy a whole new room. I asked if maybe we could do a roll-in bed, that all I needed was a spot for one more guest. They were ridiculously unhelpful, the opposite of understanding, and completely unwilling to do anything. We ended up eating the cost and finding somewhere else to stay. I called the hotel directly, and they said they normally could have helped me, but since it was through hotels.com it was in their hands. Hotels.com just wants your money and doesn’t care one bit about special circumstances- even when I offered to pay a modification fee. I will never use them again, and would advise anyone against this corporate nightmare. We ended up being incredibly happy with the alternative route, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise. Never again. Nothing against this hotel itself, it’s hotels.com and their horrific way of customer service.

The staff that helped us book our room was very helpful. The room was the worst weve ever stayed in. If it hadnt been just for the night so we could sleep we would have changed hotels right away. The first thing was stench of cigarettes in our non smoking room. The floor was sticky all over. Our shower did not drain properly and we had to wait so it wouldnt flood the room. There was bloody spots on the wall in the bathroom and a towel with a couple spots of blood was left hanging behind the door. The freezer was disgusting so we left our food in the car since it was cold outside. Our door lock was missing half its screws and hung loosely. A neighboring room had its bathroom fan on till 1:30AM which shook our whole floor. It was noticeably quieter when they finally turned it off. I will be extrnenly hesitant before I ever book a room here again.
