Extended Stay America Suites Sacramento Arden Way

This has to be the absolute worst stay I’ve ever had at any property. The first room I was placed in had roaches! Roaches! I’m not accustomed to roaches at all, but since I pre-paid, I asked to be relocated. The next room, had roaches too! This property seems to be a dwelling for the less fortunate. This is not a hotel, it’s a projects! I was born and raised, part time, in the projects and I know one when I see one. I wish they would let people know this is an efficiency, not an Extended Stay hotel. I’m appalled and want my money back!

My experience at the Extended Stay America on Arden in Sacramento was incredibly disappointing. This place falls far short of what you’d expect from an “extended stay” hotel. • No basic amenities: There was no coffee pot, no hairdryer (you had to request one—never seen that before), and no toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. • False advertising: The listing promised utensils, dishes, and cookware, but none were provided. • Uncomfortable accommodations: The walls are paper-thin, so don’t expect peace and quiet. There’s barely a closet, and nowhere to put your luggage. • Cleanliness issues: My room wasn’t cleaned during my entire stay. This hotel doesn’t live up to its name. It’s more like “Please Never Come Back America.” Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.

This room was fine for a quick stay, but it could have been cleaner. I found a lot of hair in the bed (both human and pet hair) upon arrival - on the pillows, in the sheets, and under the mattress. Counters were also dirty in the bathroom. Otherwise staff were kind and helpful.

I noticed the bathroom door was rotted on the bottom. The bed was okay. The refrigerator worked fine.

I stayed at this property for about three weeks. I had to be in Sacramento for some medical treatment for my dog. I was pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the property. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The things that fell short were the pots and pans and the clothes dryers had some issues where two of the six didn’t work very well. The pots and pans were coated with Teflon that was degraded and peeling. The forks and spoons, etc. were fine. The refrigerator worked very well! My dog and I were quite comfortable. Other than the dryer and pans issue, I would have liked to see a better area for dogs. It existed, but was a very small, dusty, dirty, bark mulch area and was nothing more than that and a trash can. I had to wipe off my dogs feet when we came in. What looked like bark was often bits and pieces of dog poop. We only went to that particular area a couple of times. It was gross. There were homeless people right outside the property, but they were all over the city. That wasn’t the fault of the property. Additionally, though there were signs, people were sitting in their cars or outside smoking pot. I don’t care if people smoke pot. What I don’t like is feeling I may get a contact high every time I go outside, no matter the time of day. There was a security guard later in the day and at night. I would have liked to see some enforcement of those rules. Overall, though, it was a good place to stay and I would stay there again.

great stay only bad thing was neighbors next to us keep us up one night with yelling and screaming.

I was given a room which had people in it half naked when i walked in. The assigned me another room. They didnt seem to care this was so embarrasing.

Every Non Smoking room smelled like Weed. Walkways need to be power washed. I should have paid the extra money for a better Hotel

Good hotel to stay nice staff

I had made this booking a month prior and the day of check in I call to ensure them im on my way; only for them to tell me they overbooked and that they may not have a room for me. I was livid and had to call Expedia customer service to help resolve the issue.

Great stay.

The neighborhood is not so good. Inside the room was nice to see microwave fridge stove. Bathroom was clean, but no shampoo to wash my hair.

It’s always quiet and safe

I appreciate the service and quickness to get my room due to me already purchasing it in advance But I would not stay my full night and had to leave due to too many roaches on the walls in the refrigerator in the bathroom toilet I need a refund im not a dirty person and will not stay here again until they take care of that
