Room was clean and well appointed. Just a one night stay for a college visit, but had everything we needed and was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was excellent.

We were very disappointed. We stayed here a few years ago and it was wonderful but this stay was disappointing we were on the 3rd floor and it looked like they were renovating trash all in the hallways when we checked in and then we couldn't even get down the halls because they have pulled up the baseboards and they had the hallways blocked and trash everywhere and workmen that looked like we were putting them out to move so we could get by. For $169 a night we were expecting a better experience I don't think we will be back. I hate it but tried to tell front desk but they just said sorry and that was it. We expected at least a discount for the unconvience. The rooms were also not as clean and up to date as when we came before.

The declined to check us in because we didn’t have small dogs. We are traveling with medium size dogs. Expedia site showed that the Fairfield accepts pets. We had to find another hotel after a long day of travel. Will Expedia refund reservation???
