I was there during Snowstorm Blair. The staff was very accommodating and showed concern for my commitments and travel plans. They even provided me extra snacks as the ice closed most business and no one could get out.

Room was nice and spacious and pretty clean. Location for our event was good. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that the pool was under construction. Traveling with 3 teens and not knowing that part was a little rough

When we got here we found out parking cost $20. Then, the reason we picked this hotel over others was the pool, was closed for renovations. This should have been said on the hotels.com website. We decided to stay in KC instead of driving home to give the kids some pool time. Not cool. Then the room was noisy from a vent that was blowing in the bathroom all the time. Had to leave the door closed to be able to sleep. They had a breakfast buffet that was being used by employees. One lady had a ear piece in connected to her cell phone and walked around talking to her friend for everyone to hear. She didnt care guests were trying to get food and didnt care to listen to her conversation. When we left she was at the counter still occupied with her best life.

I have never left an unappealing review, but this warranted it.
We stayed on the second floor. You would think it doesn’t matter, but it did. It is an older floor in a separate building. We were traveling with family and they were on the fourth floor. The hotel is setup in a strange configuration and the bottom floor is separate by a driveway.
Our family had an VERY nice clean and well kept room. Our room was referred to as the creepy dirty room. The bathroom was gross and had residual throw up or similar on the floor by the outlet from a previous visitor! The bathroom was rough. The tub was chipped and literally fixed with liquid whiteout to cover the chips. The walls were dirty and the lighting was terrible. The carpet in the room was dirty, so do NOT forget extra shoes and socks.
We also had the room by the exit door and given that there was no elevator to our floor, it was the only way in and out. It was very loud.

I was here for 12 hours, and somehow managed to get billed for two days parking, $40.00. This is not acceptable by any measure. Please fix this issue, or clearly state that if you are here for one night, you in fact get billed for TWO DAYS PARKING. The lot isn't secure, it backs against a sketchy residential area, that is noisy all night.

We went to Kansas City for the first ever Hallmark Experience. It was a perfect 15 minute walk to the Crown Center. My only complaint was they did not offer the Hallmark Channel on the TV. (Kansas City is the home of Hallmark). As far as the hotel itself, clean, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was great, really enjoyed the potatoes!

The night front desk clerk was very rude. He was upset when he had to do “extra work because of Expedia people”. The lady that was in line before me was furious because he had put a $520 hold on her card that should have only been $30. When asked he said “you will receive those funds back in 7-10 business days”. He was not it.
