Forest Park Hotel by MDR

It was great like always i love going here to get away nice people that work here shout out to the manger keep doing a great job cant wait to come back soon

I have stayed at this hotel many a times and am never displeased, everything from the The staff to the cool little rose toilet paper thing and on site security plus the coldest cleanest water good tasting coffee and diligent housekeepers have always made this my first stop when it comes to going to a hotel. The assistant manager Miss Williams not only does an amazing job of remembering most of the guests that stay by name but also remembers their preference in rooms so that gets a straight five stars from me, thank you Forest Park hotel for being the comfortable place I know I can always be safe and lay my head at. BTW... There's a balcony at every room 😉

The Forest Park Hotel.. is well it’s nothing fancy but it is a place to stay if you don’t want go drive 2 hours home. The hotel location worked out perfect for myself and 2 kids due to the activities we had planned were all right there within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The check-in process was easy and quick. Although I can’t remember the man’s name behind the counter, he was very pleasant attentive and took care of me right away. Getting up to the room was not hard after parking our car going in the side door and up the elevator, this building is older nothing fancy. I will say that the aroma of Mary Jane was lingering and almost every hallway that we went down, but to be fair it’s like that everywhere these days once we got to our room, it was exactly as we had thought it would be a small room with a small bathroom and all the amenities that you need for a night. A big surprise to my children was the ability to go out on the balcony. Although it was freezing, they actually really enjoyed that small treat and it was good to air out the room. The heat worked well it did smell a little funky when you turned it on, but that’s typical for an older hotel. it was relatively clean no bed bugs. Yes we did check. It was pretty quiet. No wild parties like when I had stayed at the hotel next-door. I’ll probably stay here again especially if I have my kids. Especially for the cost and convenience.
