Our experience at the Gansevoort Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were professional, attentive, and ensured every aspect of our stay was seamless. Saishin, was great for sushi and small bites with a view. Look forward to returning in the future.

The rooms were spacious for NYC and the location was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and helpful. The doorman while we were there was very friendly and excellent. One person can start out and end one's day in a very positive manner and he certainly did!

We love the Gansevoort! Great area - festive and a lot to do away from the congestion of Times Square, midtown etc - staff are always great!

Not happy with the manager . My husband has the flu and I was told we weren't able to reschedule. Instead he would have to still go to the hotel and be sick in the room.

Really nice area but alot of hidden fees that I noticed after I left the hotel. Nobody took my bags on my way up. Had a higher expectation here. Area is really nice safe and walkable but still not worth the price

This hotel is one of the best stays in the city. So close to the best shopping, dining and things to see. But more importantly the staff were amazing! Service is impeccable and dining with views was so beautiful on the rooftop! A must stay and will be back!

The location is excellent and the hotel is very trendy and cool. The staff were a hit and miss: the interaction we had with the different staff were either excellent (polite & friendly) or poor (cold & snobby), depending on who we got. It would have been nice if they had gone over the amenities with us during check in. We didnt’ know there was a sushi restaurant on the roof or that the pool was closed or that the lounge was closed on Mondays. All these we figured out on our own. Lastly if you are going to spend over $500/night on a 5 star hotel make sure you know what kind of room you are getting. I thought “superior” meant “nice” but it meant a tiny room next to the elevator on a low level, with a half view of the back of the building. The cleaning staff started work 8 or 9 in the morning and we couldn’t hear every single bang of each door opening & closing. But if you are looking for location, you cannot beat this one.
