Hampton Inn and Suites Minneapolis/Downtown

fantastic location for target sporting events. felt safe during game arrival and departure with the crowds.

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Perfect walking distance to the stadiums very clean rooms are a nice size. Beds were comfortable easy access to the walkways in the parking garage. I will definitely be coming back here if I go to another game. And I would highly recommend this to anybody that’s going to target field or target center

Great location for Target Field and Target Center. Skyways to everything and anywhere you need to go!

My son and I stayed here while we were in town for a Vikings and Twins game. Parking was great…there was a walkway that connected the garage to the hotel and also to Target Field. It was in walking distance to several restaurants as well. Would def stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel staff were very accommodating, breakfast was great, as was the gym. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great stay!

We parked in Ramp A near target center and we were able to take the skyway from our parking ramp to the hotel and then there was skyway access from the jotel to the state theatre where we were seejng a sbow that night so it was very easy and convenient. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great as well. I did get awoken by police sirens a couple times overnigjt but that is to be expected in a downtown area. I woild absolutely stay here again.

Close to numerous things, easy to get around. Only issues is area can have some not so pleasant people around and several times could hear loud cars driving or reviving engines at 3-4 am

Good choice of hotel downtown

Our refrigerator kept cutting in and out, I had to constantly check it to make sure it was working as I was storing pumped breast milk in it… it also smelled TERRIBLELY like marijuana. Someone definitely stored theirs in this fridge prior to our arrival. The kitchen staff in the morning seemed bothered by simple questions like we were inconveniencing them. The only big positive about our stay was the accessibility to the things we wanted to do downtown…likely won’t be staying here again

Attached to a parking garage. We went for a baseball game at Target Field, so convenient to park, walk across the skyway to the hotel. Going to the game, you just walk the skyway to the field and back after the game, so easy. Stayed for 3 nights and the total for parking was $22, cant beat that. Took the train from Target Field to Mall of America for a dollar each. Would DEFINITELY stay here again, nothing to complain about.. Never been to a 5 star place in my life, probably never will. Everything about this hotel comes as close as a comonner will come to.

We visited Minneapolis for a short, end of summer get-away which included a couple of MLB games at Target Field. It was an excellent location for access to the baseball stadium with interior walkways all the way there. The hotel was also close to rapid transit to the airport and other points of interest so a vehicle was not necessary. Minneapolis also has excellent skywalk access which was relatively easy to find the way to restaurants and downtown shopping. Generally speaking, the staff were friendly and efficient although the front desk guy in the evening was miserable and unhelpful. Also, their confectionary in the lobby is extremely limited and grossly overpriced. The included breakfast is not very good, we had it one morning and went out for breakfast after that. I had not been in Minneapolis for a number of years and the downtown has deteriorated significantly. There were many people hanging around on the street outside of the hotel panhandling, smoking dope and generally up to no good. My wife felt unsafe going onto the streets around the hotel after dark. Given the cost and the seedy neighborhood, I am not sure we would stay here again.

Overall I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. The Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the hospitality. Will probably book there on future visits to Minneapolis.

The skywalk was a great added layer of safety especially given the groups of locals congregating around some of the corners and major walking areas on the street level, which reduce level of safety for visitors.

No room service or bar/restaurant on site.

Great location. Excellent facilities. Pristine bathroom. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.

Close to sports arena and parking.

It’s a really nice set up for breakfast, with limited spots to eat. Especially if people are lingering at their tables.
