Hampton Inn Boston/Cambridge

This property was great and the staff was very friendly. If you are looking to visit MIT this is the perfect location and walking distances from the school. You won’t need a rental car…save your money as the train will take you wherever you need to go.

Quick check-in. Thanks soooo much for the complimentary fruit AND coffee set out. Little bonuses such as that is why I love your motel.

The train station is next to the hotel, so if you are a light sleeper will not recommend.

The nearby train sound if the room is facing the rail side.

The heater is broken. The front desk receptionist came to the room checked twice without success. We stayed a cold night at this hotel.

Very clean and the towels were changed every day, the room was cleaned every day. Location is very good, cross the street is a train station that is free of charge for one way till downtown. You can also walk till downtown 30 min. Breakfast was good but not too many options (same thing every day)

We stayed for one night. The hotel attended all of our expectations. I gave 3 stars to service, because the breakfast has not many options for gluten free people.

I stayed in the King size bed room for three days. It is safe and offers free breakfast and parking, which saves me a lot of money. But the noise from the vent almost drive me crazy. I couldn't even fall asleep with noise cancelling airpods. The AC is not good. even if i switched it off, it started to function from time to time. overall, i couldn't have a good sleep during my stays here.

Great location. Shuttle to North Station /TD Garden. Took 5 minutes. Free limited underground parking. Staff at front desk could be more friendly but got the job done. The floor in our room was soaked by the window and closet from the rain. They told us the window leaked. Asked for the manager to find out what was going on but is off on weekend's. Breakfast is excellent. It has everything. Location Location is the best. The train was closed for repair but the free shuttle was good to the North Station.

Pretty great location for attending events at TD Garden. Hotel was super clean, room was quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding. Staff was polite and the area felt safe.

The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of places to charge one's devices. Coffee pots and refrigerators in the rooms were clean. There are plenty of places to put clothes, including a closet. The TV was easy to use and new. The front of the building is weird. To check in, I parked in front of the parking garage, to avoid blocking anyone in that was dropping off anyone with a disability. The parking garage spots are not quite "generous" and there are not very many of them; there is a very scary, very sudden dead end in the parking garage and I had to make a very interesting turn to get back out of there, but I am not complaining as I still didn't have to pay anything extra to park. Although I did not take advantage of the in/out parking garage privilege, I know that it was available. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was great! Eggs, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, bagels and even slices of kielbasa were available. 24 hour coffee and tea was wonderful. The property was quiet, convenient, and clean.

There was a whole in the wall of our room and the hotel was dingy.

Had to change rooms twice because rooms were not properly cleaned only to end up in a room where the fridge had food from the previous guests.

El día que entre a mi cuarto todo se veía limpio, pero me di cuenta que no revisaron el clóset, porque ahí encontré dos cajas de pizza, todavía con pedazos de pizza, fui al mostrador de recepción y les dejé saber, pero hasta el día de hoy, nadie se ha comunicado conmigo, para disculparse! Tengo las fotografías que tomé, e inclusive la recepción tomó fotos de lo que les mostré y no se han comunicado para disculparse!

Staying in the area for just one night. The location is great for the purposes of our visit, sporting event at MIT in Cambridge and appt at MEEI across the river in Boston in the AM. First time stay at this spot and my wife and I will be back next year. The convenience of the location outweighs the price savings by choosing a hotel further away from the Boston city center (traffic on weekday mornings is pretty brutal for non-city dwellers). The sub-level parking garage is extremely tight. If you have a large SUV, you may have to opt for the off-site parking, which incurs an extra fee. The drop-off area for the hotel is comically small, so consider temporary parking someplace near by during the check-in process. Maybe next year I'll try using the Hilton app for check-in - just hope it works for parking garage access (you need a room key for that).
