Hampton Inn Riverside Downtown

Good location

The front desk staff were so rude and our room a/c was broken & they didn’t do anything to assist with it which made our stay miserable.

I really like the historic area and all the different dining options that is offered in the area. The problem I had was that the room was not what I saw in the pictures. The sheets in the room I stayed in dont fit the bed so they keep coming off and on top of that the sheets are so worn out that you can see right through it. I got pictures so I can leave it in my review as well as let any of my friends see just in case they want to stay in the area. I would recommend staying somewhere else even the Hyatt right across the street or better yet the Mission Inn. You can feel the nail tac in the carpet near the bathroom area. I kept poking my feet on it and when looking I was actually able to see the nail sticking out. That is very dangerous. At breakfast another guest dropped the serving spoon on the floor bent down and picked it up ready to put it back. Luckly someone who worked there saw and went and got a new clean spoon I cant blame the hotel for that one though. Another guest asked for water but when I asked they said it was only at check in.... if thats the case they should have offered it at check in. I wasn't aware I couldn't ask for it at another time during my stay. On top of that after booking the room and paying they let you know that there is a dog and cats on the property. I have no problem with that but its weird they tell you about the animals but say nothing about the construction. Loud at 5 in the morning snd can only see the construction out of the window

From check in to check out it was a breeze easy to walk to downtown Riverside , comfortable rooms , breakfast had many options

Parking and valet was way over priced nd then we were forced in to it cause so called parking was full

This was a bad choice, I was notified two days before my arrival that parking was across the street and still had to pay 29 dollars a night and couldn’t cancel. There was a urine in the elevator we had to use at the parking garage, We shouldn’t have been charged for parking I paid about 200 a night for two nights and was there for a wedding and this just made our stay a pain!!!!! I will never stay at a Hampton inn again!!!!!!! The staff never greeted us nor asked how our stay was. They offered valley parking but when you have to come and go with tips parking would have been outrageous!!!!!! I am so disappointed with this service it’s my last stay at a Hampton!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location and hotel.

This was a good location for walking out to see the Christmas lights and hearing the street musicians.

The doors were very heavy and closed very loudly. Walls were very thin and Yes I heard. Staff was very friendly

No parking it was terrible for parking for your customer to pay that much a night not to have parking

The hotel was clean. Customer service was great. The room was spacious. Bed was super comfy. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep well. Even with the earplugs that were provided for the room. The shower leaked and the heater kept making strange noises.

Liked close to shopping, food and night life. Parking was off site and was not aware of that. A heads up would have been nice.

Good evening, I had stayed 1 night here to take my kids to the Christmas light show and turned out to be a very disappointing night. We were woken up constantly; 9pm, 11pm 2am, etc. my kids and I felt very unsafe we payed for a nice experience. There were people partying ALL night next to us. We contacted local staff to address the issue and it occurred all night till the next morning. People were fighting in the hallways & noisy all night. This was a very dissatisfying experience for us especially with my kids being very young. Staff did not take any measures on the safety of our stay and we would like to pass this along.

Everything was delightful, clean, friendly staff, good hot breakfast and even a free draft beer. Easy walk to Mission Inn Festival of Lights.
