Hilton Garden Inn Florence

Our room was really nice and spacious. We were just very disappointed that the pool was unheated and it looked like it needed a good cleaning.As it is December , we were looking forward to a relaxing and comfortable swim as we had been driving all night. The hot tub was being serviced so we could not use that either. Someone had left wet towels all over as well. We stay often in Hampton hotels and I thought the Garden Inns were among the upper level of quality. There is also no free breakfast offered like there is at the other Hampton properties.

For being as packed as it was, I don’t know why people stay at this hotel. It was good back in the 90s maybe. The hallways reek of either cleaning solution or some sort of pumped in smell. It’s overwhelming. If you’re sensitive at all, skip this place. The bedroom we got was old. Maybe just what they had left, I guess. We were missing a shower curtain. The “pack and play” that we were told on the phone was actually this ancient metal crib. I don’t how Hilton has banned these things from being used. It’s not even the standard size so we couldn’t use our topper for our toddler. The only thing we enjoyed about our stay was the staff. They were super courteous and helpful. Loved them. Hilton just needs to consider some serious renovations and yank those metal jail-like cribs.

It's a Hilton, it was clean and great quality. The bathroom fell short for me. While it was clean, it was in need of a refresh, new caulking, new wallpaper, paint etc. The bathroom garbage wasn't emptied which kinda annoyed me, but wasn't worth calling the front desk as we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep, It made me think twice about how much attention was given to cleaning, but the bed was comfy and the mattress checked out and it was late. I would recommend this location and would stay again.

I love all Hilton hotels bc they are pet friendly, but this was one of the best. The location was amazing. A Chili’s, target, pet smart, and mall within walking distance. Rooms were clean. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. My only complaint is that a hotel with 8 floors needs more than 2 elevators. But the hotel was also at 100% capacity when I was there so it may not usually be an issue.

Easy check in. Love that check out isn’t until 12. This hotel has the best water pressure in the shower that I’ve ever had. And it also got hot very quickly. AC worked great in the room as well. Highly recommend this place
