Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East

The noise of doors slamming and cleaning staff talking in the hallways started at 7am every day. Room really small and dark.

Nice location, great staff. Only feedback is related to the difficulty controlling heat, it was very hot or very drafty and cool. One elevator was out of service or being serviced at one point, however the wait was an inconvenience at times as people were piling in with luggage and laundry carts.

We stood for 5 days and the hotel was clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was great with lots of shops and places to eat near by. Location has great walk ability and easy access to public transportation. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was good and you can walk from attractions close to the area.Lots of good choices to order food and dine.The room we got was close to the electric room and it was loud sometimes and I can hear the washer or dryer if in use.The hotel hallway was narrow and hard to push trolley and maneuver around even going in and out the elevator.There was no bodywash on the shower and the ac is not giving stable temperature

I stayed there while visiting to see The Rockettes. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The king room was surprisingly small. There was a lot of construction in front of hotel so it was a little hard to find. I would stay there again though. Great location, clean, good rate.

I stay at this hotel very often due to work and great location. Rooms are good, basic, always very clean, housekeeping always very nice. Unfortunately, this time wasn't good at all... some kind of construction going on at the lobby that I wasn't aware of and smell of weed in the lobby was really hard to ignore or tolerate. There was no hand soap nor body wash nor water bottles in the room, when asked for it was told that their delivery didn't arrive and they're out of those items. Staff working the front desk very rude and not helpful at all, every question or complaint I had, was simply ignored or rudely answered "no, we can't help you with that"... I usually like staying here and was considering staying again in few weeks, but this time I was extremely disappointed and now thinking of staying else where.

Out stay was amazing and it was helped by the fact that the staff was accommodating and friendly. They allowed us to check in two hours early which was extremely helpful since we had arrived at 6am to the city. Before that they stored all our luggage for us and did the same after we checked out. The hotel is also right next to the subway station that has routes to both Laguardia Airport and JFK, overall this was an excellent experience.

The conforter is not warm.

We enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - Midtown East. It was super convenient to lots of attractions and the subway. Being just a few blocks off the action made it quieter at night for better sleep! The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed warm drinks in the lobby each morning -- especially given the cold weather. We would stay here again.
