Checked in online and chose rooms on same floor with other friends that were also staying on property. Confirmed room but upon arrival, room was not available and had to be changed to a king room instead of doubles.
Asked for extended parking the following day- the night crew did not know policy and told us it could be extended without cost, while the dayshift crew was very knowledgable and informed us of the proper procedure.
The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave in it.
The restaurant had POOR service- do not recommend, 0/10. Multiple complaints filed against staff.

The heat wouldn’t shut off. The room was like a sauna. We were sweating in there. The thermostat was set for 68 and the fan was on low. The temperature kept rising to 75 degrees.

Spent one evening at the Providence Hilton with my parents and sister. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, though we did have to call the front desk multiple times to resolve issues (including having to move my parents to a new room as their heat didn't work). Despite the inconveniences I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Providence.
