The website doesn’t even do this property justice! What an experience. We felt like we were transported into an alternate reality and team with lemon and grapefruit trees ripe right outside my door, the most charming room with a quaint kitchen and outdoor shower… the people who work there couldn’t have been more accommodating and fun. Safety is a priority there - my fiance showed up unexpectedly and flew in to surprise me and they did their due diligence to make sure he was vetted and walked with him to my room to make sure he wasn’t a sketch ball. The family chicken dinner setting and meal was absolutely stunning and such a memorable experience. A long table outdoors, family style with the opportunity to meet all the other amazing people partaking in this wonderful meal. The mid century modern decor kept the true character of the property and retro vibes. We can’t wait to return!

What an amazing place. My husband and I have traveled all over the world and this is one of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed at. From the hotel staff to the incredibly decorated room everything exceeded our expectations.

Loved everything about this hotel. It really did feel like 5 star stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even brought out drinks to us by the pool. Will definitely return.

This is a great little hotel designed in the 50’s that is a block from the main strip in Palm Springs. The food is great as is the service. The rooms are spacious and have linoleum floors, big bathrooms and a comfortable king bed. There are no televisions in the rooms.
The pool is great offering shaded areas all day, places to sit under shade structures close by and poolside service.
The bike they have for guests to use are less than ideal. One speed and very hard to pedal. I’m a cyclist and had to work hard for a short ride around the area. If you want to ride more than a few blocks I’d suggest renting a bike.
Overall this is a great place to stay to recharge your batteries and visit Palm Springs.

The hotel is absolutely amazing but........ I personally do not think that room 18 should be on the same rate as the other rooms. It is directly above the dinning area, is the smallest room in the entire hotel and does not have the same facilities as the other rooms. They are listed as Good, Better and Best - sadly room 18 should be called Worst or Not so Good and at a much lower rate just so you can experience this amazing hotel. It is my opinion that this room is kept for sites as Hotels.com so they can get web traffic. Other than the room, the hotel and the staff are absolutely fantastic.

The Holiday House is incredible and we highly recommend. The owner, general manager Chris, front desk, chef, and all service staff were awesome and provided excellent customer service and this is how all businesses should treat customers! The room and all common areas were beautiful and the pool was so relaxing and wonderful. We stayed for the Wednesday night family dinner and it was so delicious and a magical evening! We can’t wait to return to such an excellent place!! Thank you so much!!

I have stayed at this property for years and it has always been my “go-to” but recent experiences have bumped this property to the bottom of the list. Since california law SB478, properties must include ALL fees in the initial advertised price, however now they are trying to call it an “amenities package”, including things such as parking, wifi, towels, in room amenities like the topo chico water and soaps ect…this daily charge of $41.70 is presented only at check in and is buried in the document you sign at check in. This junk fee is required to be included in the advertised TOTAL price. Regardless since is new they certainly would be wise to let returning guests know this change verbally which appears to be yet again a junk fee by definition.
Since a change in manager, things here are sub par, including a breakfast that has become nothing short of disappointing. Sadly the overall vibe of this property has changed.

This place is only a quick walk away from downtown Palm Springs. They allow you to use the pool and spa all hours as long as the noise level is very quiet.

We had a great stay at the holiday house! The staff was amazingly accommodating and truly made our one night stay great! Thank you to the manager and the staff at the front desk for everything they did for us , upgrading our room and dealing with any trouble we had! Looking forward to coming back to the holiday house maybe when it’s not 116 degrees again though! lol
