Holiday Inn CLEVELAND-S INDEPENDENCE, an IHG Hotel

Room and hotel very clean. No odd smells. Parking is terrible. You have to park 2 blocks away and shuttle back OR pay $25 for valet.

I did enjoy the stay (even though it was one night). The staff is friendly and the room was clean. However, we had a handicapped room because of my wife. The shower needs some TLC. The bottle hanger is coming apart and the shower head has a severe leak where the hose meets the neck. Other than that, it was nice.

The hotel is great for events and teams. The pool is a decent size to allow for a good amount of people with space and the there is a gym with the necessities. We didn't eat at the restaurant and that is a convenience to have. There is also a small market with necessities that was great. The bad part was the front desk overcharged us for the items we purchased. Our room was average - pretty clean overall. We had to call down twice to get bedding for the pullout coach (three people in a room with one king bed should have signaled to the front desk to ask if we needed bedding). We would stay here again.

Clean rooms, top notch supplies, and great walking distances to dining. Can be busy streets but overall not bad to get in and out of. No worries here all!

Great breakfast buffet and a very friendly staff. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. The bathroom fan didn't work and the door to the stairways slammed shut so loud the entire floor could hear it. Other than that it was very pleasant.

I was actually really impressed with this hotel. It was much nicer than I expected for the price and for a Holiday Inn. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was nice. There was a lot of noise in the hall though, likely because they were hosting a Halloween party at the hotel club.

It has been ok weird smell outside the building

We were cycling and this was a bike friendly accommodation, allowing us to keep our bikes in our room.

This hotel was very disappointing. Common areas where the bar and restaurant are appeared to be clean, but as soon as you took and elevator to a fllor it was terrible. The carpets in hallways were wrinkled up and unsafe. The friend i was travelling with almost fell. She walks with a cane after a hortible accident and the cane kept catching where the carpet was bunched up. Mattresses so old they creaked when you moved and so worn that you rolled nearly off the bed. Curtains sagging from the rod, coffeemaker in room broken, fan in bathroom broken. Housekeeping entered the room while a do not disturb sign was on the door. Vending machines on EVERY FLOOR not in working order! (I tried 2 machines on all 5 floors. Absolutely horrible experience. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone. Paid way too much money

Extremely friendly staff. Could do a better job on cleanliness. Wish they had an inclusive breakfast. Need to update carpet and beds. Beds weren’t completely uncomfortable, but I’ve stayed in hotels for the same price with much softer beds
