Holiday Inn CORPUS CHRISTI DOWNTOWN MARINA, an IHG Hotel

The first room that was given to us was terrible hadn't been cleaned properly with black mold growing in the bathroom around the tub. Was upgraded to a different room that was better but the general condition of the hotel was poor with major updates and repairs needed. had to pay for a morning coffee in the front desk area.

I’ve stayed at this location many times before, and the room I had this last time was disgusting. Dirty bedding, dirty towels, both of which had makeup stains on them… I was very disappointed.

a very nice hotel

Given that it was going to be cold outside and that it featured an indoor pool, we thought this location was ideal.The water was freezing and it turned out that the indoor and outdoor pools are connected! Aside from that, the location is really convenient, although the place is a little too old for the price.

Front desk was pathetic and lazy, all they wanted to do is go to the back office and avoid you. Room was old and filthy. Balcony was locked and tub didn’t drain well.

Rooms are not kept in working condition and very poor bathroom facilities.

Well we had to change rooms three times there was some maintenance issues in the bathroom in the first room and they moved us to the second room the bathroom door knob was just dangling on the door and the TV was not working so we had to move to another room well the bathroom door was hard to close the hinges were rusted so it made it hard to close very hard and open other than that, the room was great they need a better maintenance team.

The staff was not very helpful and the bathroom was destroyed.

Breakfast was soooooooo bad!!! We waited one hour

A great stay. Hotel rooms are a little dated. Beds were comfortable. Great hotel lobby bar and good location. Good value for money

When I got in the room the AC was off and temperature was 75. I turned the AC unit on and the air flow was next to nothing coming from the vents, I noticed the filter was so discolored and fill of dust. I climbed on the couch and removed the filter to find a date of February 2024 written in pen, this is December. The balcony door did not shut all the way, there was warm air coming in which made it not possible to cool the room completely down. The wall paper in the bathroom was pealing off and was dirty. There were stains on the couch so I asked for a clean blanket to cover the couch so I could sit on it. They charged me $20 to park in the parking garage but failed to tell me I could park across the street for free in the empty lot. The breakfast was amazing but way over priced at $15 per person, there was absolutely nothing fancy about the breakfast. Honestly for what they charge for parking in an unsecured parking garage, breakfast should have been free. I will not stay at this hotel again. I give it one star rating.

It overall very dated, the rooms have a strong musty smell. Shower had little water pressure, and was either scolding hot or freezing cold. The grounds seemed to me meticulously cared for, if only the same attention was given to the rooms and common areas. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is definitely not worth the charge.

It was a nice property. They had everything you needed. The view from our room was beautiful. I will definitely stay here again.
