Holiday Inn Express & Suites BELLE VERNON, an IHG Hotel

This was an excellent hotel. Clean. Large rooms. Friendly staff. And the breakfast was really, really good. We stay at a lot of Holiday Inn and Hilton properties and this breakfast was better than most. Everything stayed well stocked and the choices were really good.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast (better than most continental bfast eggs, in comparison), the pool was perfect temp (not cold, heated in winter). I like the shop to buy snacks and drinks in case someone needed it

The staff is always extremely friendly and courteous and truly a great stay.

There was blood on the curtains, only half of the heater/ air conditioner worked. The cereal for breakfast was stale and the hot food was cold. I had to take the hot food back to the room to microwave it in order to eat it.

Arrive on time room was not ready even tho I arrived in town an hour later than check in. The room smelled like feet. I had to ask for more cleaning disinfected stuff. My children said the pool area wasn’t that clean. I not sure if I will stay at this place anymore. It’s like Holiday Inn is going down they use to be better. The staff stands right at the front entrance smoking. Like move away from the main entrance everybody don’t smoke. The place needs a some TLC

Liked the size of the room. Water did not taste good. Put bottled water in room. Liked breakfast.

I was so comfortable and had everything that I needed and wanted. The breakfast was especially delicious and fresh. The room was so clean and everything smelled fresh! GREAT value for the price!!

Helpful staff and easy check in made it a great choice on the way to our next stop. Breakfast was hot and fresh with no complaints.

The pool was absolutely disgusting, my daughter has a raspy throat now after swimming which means the chemicals are not being regulated in the pool properly. The shower has mold spots most specifically by the shampoo it was grimey. The breakfast was very decent and the staff was kind. I had several issues with my key not working and had to ask for blankets and pillows for the pullout.

Fire alarm happened last night 2am and everyone had to be out and stayed in the lobby. My son has a soccer tryout and didn’t get enough sleep. Bad experience

Over all experience was okay. Front desk women were very friendly and helpful. Downside front desk girl was smoking weed outside the side door of the hotel.

We checked in and were given a room. When we opened the door, the beds were unmade, there were beer bottles all over, and questionable stains on the bathroom floor. We returned to the front desk and the annoyed attendent gave us a new room, complaining that the first one should have been cleaned. She also let us know that there was a couple staying in a room that was supposed to be unoccupied and that she might have to call the police. Not very reassuring. The following morning we went to breakfast (one of the perks is that it's included). However, the only food available was yogurt, cereal, and bagels. The pancake machine was empty and there was a sign on the serving dishes reading, "No meat until truck comes". Disappointing. But even more of a disappointment was returning to our room after a long day and finding that it hadn't been cleaned. Our daughter just moved to the area. This was our second stay at this hotel. We will not return. No apologies for our inconvenience... no refund for our breakfast... simply a complete lack of customer service.

My dad and I stayed for 2 nights. It was clean. Breakfast was great, pool was heated and staff was very friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay there again.

Night time front desk staff was phenomenal, very nice! Housekeeping prior to us arriving didn’t clean the drawers or refrigerator out, had to Throw away food and drink and plastic silverware, and didn’t dust or wipe down any desk/tables, otherwise great stay! Beds are comfortable but comforter was thin and ripped, could stand to have some thicker and not ripped blankets

We booked a king room weeks ago. When we got there they gave us our room keys and when we went up it was not a king room. Went back down and the lady said its all they had left and there was not an unsold out hotel for over 50 miles. We were not the only ones they were giving the run arround to. Would not recommend if its a busy time. It was mediocre at best.

Easy access to interstate and lots of choices for restaurants. Nice and clean with comfortable beds.
