Holiday Inn Express & Suites COFFEYVILLE, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast options. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool is out of service. Could not find a local phone number to see if repairs had been made before we arrived.

I came there at the last minute. They were friendly and clean

Indoor pool was closed. Window coverings were stained. Bathroom door did not close properly. Breakfast was good.

Hotel is doing construction/remodeling all over the hotel.

We stayed this time in a room for disabled persons. All was very nice except for the bathroom door. A very heavy sliding door, which was almost impossible for me to move and would not work for a person with a disability. The door created a safety factor as it slid across the coffee bar/refrigerator area. I was slightly injured as my daughter came out of the bathroom and slid the door into my body and across my foot as I was getting into the frig. .Poor and unsafe design.

The staff was so nice. The rooms were clean and parking was easy. The breakfast had so many options, including things my gluten free daughter could eat. Several things were not working during our stay, like the tvs and ice machines, but they were having technical issues and are remodeling so hopefully those will be resolved soon.

The ONLY thing we can say we enjoyed was the breakfast and John!! If it weren't for John coming in and making it as good as only one employee could, we would have asked for a full refund and gone to another hotel! John is a top-notch employee who gave us the best hospitality we could have ever imagined! When I arrived, I let the blonde girl with an inappropriate shirt on know we were there, she checked us in and acted as if everything was perfectly normal and fine. She wouldn't give us a third key for our teenage daughter (somewhat understandable, but still petty). We got up to our room and noticed how stained the carpets in the halls were. The carpets in the room were also stained and gross. The room was what I would consider to be the room of a privately owned, understaffed, old motel in a trashy town. When I took the kids down to go to the funeral home of the friend we were there to bury the next morning, I asked the pool hours. THEN is when she decided to tell me the pool was closed for repairs. Had the rest of our family not been staying there, we would have asked for a refund and left right then and there. However, we didn't want something like that to stop us from our family time. So we stayed. I asked her, "Don't you think that was something you could have told me when I checked in?" She said, "Oh, yeah I guess maybe we should tell people that." - while laughing. We will not ever be back to this hotel.

Bathroom was pretty gross, wouldn’t take shoes off in hotel room, smell was terrible as well.

The blinds were dirty from water damage and the window sill. Disgusting! Looked like mold was starting to grow on them. The AC was filthy Hair on the floor in the bathroom Drawers had dirt in them No thank you when I checked out after 2 days and spending over 500.00 But I did notice a sign about their guarantee cleanliness. Very upsetting that I had to pay almost $40 extra through Expidia when the rooms were only $128! That’s not right at all $ I paid 163!!!

i had made 8 reservations through a third party 3 weeks in advance, and when the holiday inn in coffeyville ks became overbooked, they canceled our reservations because we booked third party. that can be understandable, but what is not acceptable is that we had no warning. everyone drove over 2 hours to be turned away. will not be using the holiday inn.

We stayed 5 nights, house keeping never made our beds. Or vacuumed our floor. We were there for the fair and showing livestock so our room got pretty dirty. Even though we were charged for 5 people we were only left 2 towels everyday. There was mold in the shower and the grass was very tall.

No noise or kids running through hotel. Peaceful relaxing night away from home.

I found I needed some papers printed and the evening clerk w2orked with me to get them completed. I appreciate that very much.
