Holiday Inn Express & Suites RIPLEY, an IHG Hotel

We did arrive late in the evening (11:30p). Rang the service bell 4 times with no response. Finally called the hotel phone number and reached a staff member to check us in. When my husband used the men's room, the wall was covered in vomit. He mentioned it to her, but she didn't seem concerned. The lobby & hallway floors were dirty when we arrived and still at checkout. A loud group was partying outside our window until at least 1am. We make this trip regularly, and will be staying elsewhere in future.

I stay here quite often and have never had a bad experience. Parking can be an issue sometimes because there are often big work trucks that take up multiple parking spots.

The good: as always the hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. Not sure what sheets you use on your beds but they are like sleeping on a cloud. Wow. The bad: my daughters and I checked in around 2am. We were traveling from Florida to Michigan and needed a place to stop for the night. The night staff was very, very, unprofessional and I actually was questioning if they worked for the hotel. Whomever was on duty was dressed in colorful stretch pants, a graphic T-shirt, hair 1/2 in a bun (butt falling out), and she along with 2 other people walked out of the stairwell to assist us. No name tag. Nothing. The Excellent: the server in the morning tending to the breakfast was amazing. A++ customer service. She was friendly, gave us water, asked us if we needed anything. She deserves a raise and the ability to teach others how to provide 5-star service.

Pillows were horrible! Look big and fluffy, but your head sinks right through them immediately! Staff was friendly.

We were on a week long trip, this was our 3rd hotel in 6 days. It was the best, clean, well taken care of, best bedding & pillows. Extremely happy. I slept well.

Had a great stay at the holiday inn. Room was clean and check in/out was very easy. The staff were all friendly and helpful would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent stay! I will definitely be coming to this particular hotel when I travel from North Carolina to Indiana. The lobby was decorated in a cute fall theme. The staff was great! The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and pre packaged to go treats, which was nice and convenient. If you are traveling with a pet there were plenty of clean areas that were well lit to potty your dog. The hotel is very convenient to restaurants, gas and fast food.

Great stay here for a local festival. Every staff member we encountered was lovely and friendly. The breakfast offered many options and was delicious. Really enjoyed the extra touches like bottled water and cookies. Hotel overall seemed very clean. I have only had good experiences with IHG hotels. Only gripe I have is the bed being too firm and the pillows too soft, but that is with most hotels.

The hotel staff were amazing and so was the room. Clean and comfortable.

Good location right off the freeway, close to a lot of fast food, safe area with plenty of parking. Good warm breakfast with a good selection of items. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to stay

Everything was good except I had asked if we could split the bill when we checked in. I was told that it could be done when I check out. Do I asked then and was told it was impossible!!! Because of this I have incurred bank charges for other purchases that didn’t go through. I’m very unhappy with this situation! And will not be staying with your hotel again!! It was a simple request and you said you could do it and you could not. So you lied to me and cost me extra money. Very disappointed, Rob

Very beautiful hotel all around. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Will be staying here again!

The air conditioner in the room had to be turned down to 61 just to cool the room. And the TV only had the option for live TV, could not connect to the internet for streaming. But the bed was fantastic and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice stay.

Recommend the king suit. MODERN COMPHY CLEAN.Hot breakfast good coffee .
