Very convenient to restaurants and Appalachian ski Mt. Very nice staff.

This hotel was not worth the price. I was greeted by a staff that had no personality at all. Which was fine for me I don’t need to talk much but if you like that kinda thing it’s probably not for you. They are like robots no smiles or anything. It was odd. My husband kept telling me it was a creepy hotel. Felt like we were gonna get abducted or something. When we got to the room the beds were made but there was sticky stuff all over the counters. They had not been wiped down and there were garbage on the floor it clearly had not been vacuumed. It made me worry whether the beds had actually been changed. Probably not unless that’s all they did. There was also dirty wash cloths hanging from the shower. I went and asked a housekeeper for some cleaner and a rag and she acted shocked and offered to come clean it but at that point I didn’t trust it to be done well so I told her I’d do it myself and wiped the whole place down. So after I cleaned it myself it was decent. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. You can hear everything going on around you. Luckily my neighbors calmed down around midnight. I am not a light sleep er and it was even a lot of noise for me. Breakfast was decent but get there early because they are not interested in replacing things. There were a lot of people who were upset about that while we were there. I did like the size of the rooms and the big windows. There is a lot of room to hang your stuff and a big bench to put your bags.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was amazing.

Everything was pretty good except breakfast. Staff was irritated with all the questions and the food was poor quality. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was friendly. Room was clean.

We had a great stay! The room was spotless and it smelled very nice. The towels were crisp white as well as the beds! They have a very nice complementary breakfast with your stay which we enjoyed.

The hotel in general is good, it's not luxurious, the location is very good, the breakfast was horrible. All the staff were always very attentive and ready to help, in that aspect everything was very good. My only problem was with the cleanliness, the bathroom is very small for someone traveling with a family, I noticed during the shower that the water didn't flow through the pipe and the bathtub was full, dirt came out of the drain and it was disgusting. The truth is that the drain was blocked and had a lot of dirt from other guests, hair and other things. I asked for help at the front desk, but since it was late at night I only cleaned it the next day, the truth is that I cleaned it myself.

This stay for 3 nights was very comfortable! The front desk did not have cash so I could get smaller bills to tip the breakfast crew and housekeepers.

Isolated no place to dine

Other than the strong smell of pot on the first floor, it was fine!

My refrigerator was not working and had water collected inside as well as a used coffee pod in the counter!!

Very good staff clean rooms and close to resort

In the work out room the treadmill did not work and the TV did not work. It was nice overall but there was peeling paint in the bathroom area, a bathroom fan might help with that.

Great stay, especially the breakfast! While volunteering for Operation Christmas Child in Boone, I enjoyed this Holiday Inn Express!

Great stay, clean rooms, good location!

No Kleenex’s In the box in the bathroom. 1/2 roll of toilet paper and no more in the room.

Hotel was clean and well staffed. Breakfast was also done well. Walls must be thin as we heard voices from hallways and rooms above us. Fortunately they quieted at a reasonable hour.
