Brand new, great breakfast, close to highway

Easy check in. Nice clean room.

Breakfast was ample and very well done!! The room, however, was not great at all. I have allergies to all kinds of toxins, and the bed and room were both outgassing massive toxins 24/7. It made me very ill and I got the worst vertigo I've ever experienced. Staff was supposed to be on duty to check in until midnight, but when I called down to get extra blankets the first night, just after we got in around 11:30, no one was on duty. Site says 24/7 customer service or whatever you called it. No one answered THERE either!! The bathroom door hits to toilet, so you cannot open it all the way. The amenities such as shower gel, hand soap, shampoo were all in large bottles labeled "DOVE" instead of quality samples. Not dove soap was so bad that one tiny try, and it dried my fingers out until they seemed like porcupine skin! AND we got a great deal on the Black Friday special thru Expedia, so we expected it would be a regular room, but we were put in the room that was 3.5 ft. from the elevator, so were woken up at all hours. The t.v. and the breakfast were both wonderful, so there's those 2, Otherwise, I never intend to go back to that toxic place again! Sorry to be so critical, but this was totally the truth! I got so ill from the toxins and even had to have our room keys redone every one of the 3 nights, because the staff seemed incapable of programming our room keys for all 3 nights. Nothing like standing in pain for long periods, waiting to get keys that WORKED!

The hotel was super clean. The staff there were very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful especially with my rambunctious 2 year old. Extra cookies are always a plus. lol

Property is located at a safe and quiet place. Breakfast was very good and staffs were very friendly. Good dining options around and room could have been vaccumed and mopped well.

Great place to stay for a quick overnight passing through. Quieter property due to distance from the highway. We’ve stayed here several times and the service is always good. Did not disappoint this time.

Our favorite hotel for our trips to Hershey

When we arrived, there was a boil water advisory due to a failed inspection at the hotel. We were not offered any safe drinking water and had to purchase bottled water upon arrival with no apologies. One of the outlets in e room had some form of alarm going off to the point that we had to unplug the entire device from the wall. There were items from a previous guest that were left in the fridge. The pool looked almost green so we decided not to swim. The lobby area was clean and bright and the breakfast was largely good. All in all was maybe something we would pay $100 a night for - not the nearly $250 they charged.

The receptionist was on the phone and not paying attention to my questions. She seamed to be bothered by me checking in and my questions. Very rude

Upon check in, Clerk was answered 3 phone calls and didn't even look at me as she made the calls, and not my check in, a priority... THEN helped her co worker with an issues as I was standing there waiting to he checked in. She talked very fast and not so interested in good communication nor customer service.This was VERY poor customer service, as well as too long processing time to be checked in. NOT basic hospitality which is pretty standard. Past the check in at the elevator to my room, there was a tiny sign saying "boil all water before drinking". This would have been important info to tell a guest before or at checking in as the sign could have been easily missed. I went back to the front desk to enquire and was given a only two 8 oz. bottles of water. ALSO the tile perimeter topping the inside of the pool was dirty. Changing area for pool was in clear sight of checkin desk... it should have a privacy screen.

There was no drinking water. Tje pool was closed. I found the phone in a drawer this morning as I was leaving. It was not easy to get in with my bag after I had to park by a small, non automatic door in the back with no luggage trolleys. I hope they are redecorating because the room was very big and empty. Not a great experience.

I see they upgraded some things there but that bath tub was way too out dated and they had done a sizable patch job on it!

Staff seemed to not care very much about anything. There were people smoking all night in surrounding rooms even though it’s a non smoking facility. The pool was disgusting with a layer of slime on the top of the water. We went down to swim and turned right around and went back up to our room. Room layout was weird the bathroom sink was in the room, not the bathroom. Would not go back and stay at this particular location
