Holiday Inn Express HOPEWELL - FORT GREGG ADAMS, an IHG Hotel

I have traveled quite a bit and have had to stay at so many Hotels but I think this is the cleanest and quietist place I have ever stayed in. The staff from house keeping, front desk and the lady keeping the good breakfast going was very pleasant. Absolutely will stay here in Hopewell, Va again

everything went smoothly

I’m used staying in 4-5 star hotels during business travel. This hotel was absolutely spotless from the lobby to my room. My room was the cleanest room I think I’ve ever seen anywhere in any hotel. It was also very comfortable. That staff was excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn express. The breakfast was good the people were nice and it always in a safe location. I would definitely reserve a room again.

Found mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was also another spot in the bathroom ceiling where it looked like they had tried to repair water damage. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. Although, when we walked into our room, there was a strong perfume/cleaner smell. We got used to it after a while but beware if you are sensitive. Staff were very friendly. Checked out first thing the next morning and checked into another hotel. Tbh there’s probably mold in every hotel to some extent, but it’s too hard for me to ignore when I can actually see the mold as well as signs of water damage. Expedia was a huge help in getting us a refund for the second night. If you just need a hotel for a couple of nights and aren’t sensitive to mold, this place is fine for a short stay. Otherwise, I would stay elsewhere.

I’ve been at now three different hotels since being here in Hopewell. It took 3x to find a Hotel i felt safe, comfortable and treated with kindness as a valued guest. I will not mention the previous two by name but i will say one felt very unsanitary and the other was loud throughout the night. I do wish you had a pool but for my most basic neecd ya’ll are excellent

Nice little Italian restaurant that you can walk to property was clean, staff was helpful.

The staff was very friendly, room was clean, clean sheets, clean bathroom, quiet. No issues. Would stay again. I recommend this hotel.

I had no issues. All went well. Had a great experience.

The property was as advertised. We were supposed to have received a king bed and got a room with two double beds instead. We got to the property late and we just wanted to shower and relax. We were not informed that we would be receiving a different size at check in.

The overall service was great. We will be back.

Great place to stay

Overall stay was good. The hallways stink like dirty socks and rotten food.

Our room smelled like no other yet we had a second room that didn’t smell. The staff did not stop the noisy kids running up and down the halls at 6 am and at midnight. The pool was completely covered yet advertised it was open. The food was not good served at breakfast. I have stayed at holiday inn expresses in different parts of the country and this one was by far the worst. The area it’s in is straight ghetto and everyone shuts their doors at 9 pm.
