This property was great. Seems like it has been remodeled recently. Tile floors were heated! The restaurant next door was excellent! Only issue were loud neighbors but that isn't the hotel’s fault.

The hallways were dark and smelled musty and damp. The room was in decent condition, but felt very small. The bay view was a small finger of marshland and a very industrial looking bridge. There was an unpleasant smell all around the hotel and warnings that the parking lot was prone to flood during high tide. We left after 20 minutes because the smell made my wife ill.

I checked in and was not given the rate in my reservation despite showing proof. The hote staff told me he “was bad at math.” After showing my confirmation the hotel would not make the adjustment. There is also flooding at the hotel and sandbags around the entrances to the section nearest the bay. You cannot park there if there is a long tide or a storm due to flooding. I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years and it is showing signs of disrepair. And desk staff are rude or unhelpful.

This is a dog friendly hotel but they do not separate Doug wings with non dog visitors and the barking when dogs are left in room was uncomfortable. The parking lot floods occasionally and the wing smelled like dirty diapers as we go down the hall. They were drying and sanitizing half the floor and the solvents were strong while cans were blowing to dry carpet. Would not stay here again. Room phone rang at all hours, unplugged it after 3rd time as we were sleeping. This is like a bargain Motel 6 level. Bare bones odd rooms with minimal space in bathroom. Who hangs hand towels low and microwave too high for short guests.

COMFY mattresses. Nice location just north of San Francisco. We stay here after a slow drive down highway 1 and toured SanFrancisco the next day. Hotel is located on the water nice view and great breakfast offerings.
