Front desk attendant was great and helped me check in late at night. Hotel itself is old, run down, and filthy.

was there for a wedding at the Pen Ryn estate which is less than 2 miles away. Great location- staff was super friendly. Only bad thing is were room 254 right next to the elevator that made a horrible noise everytime the elevator was used.

The rooms are extremely comfortable but breakfast could be better. Something I didn't like was to see many guests in front of the hotel smoking weeds. I understand that it's legal but it really bother people that don't smoke.

The Holiday Inn Express NE Philadelphia/Bensalem is not a hotel; it’s a poorly managed disaster. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. Pitch a tent at a gas station instead—you’ll have better service and fewer headaches. The one pro? The breakfast wasn’t terrible. But everything else? A nightmare. The entire hotel reeks of marijuana, with guests treating their rooms like permanent apartments, complete with welcome mats. Room 316? A health hazard. The bathtub didn’t drain, forcing speed showers or standing in ankle-deep mystery water. The air conditioning rattled like it was falling apart, and the bathroom fan? Useless, moldy, and screeching. Saturday night, our room keys stopped working, forcing us to drag our exhausted child to the lobby. The front desk employee brushed it off with, “Oh, this just happens,” handed us one working key, and ignored the rest. When I called to complain, she hung up on me repeatedly. I had to confront her in the lobby, where she called her manager on her personal cell. The manager? Yelled at me like I caused the issues. By Tuesday, the same manager escalated the situation. After refusing to fix anything or address her staff’s behavior, she claimed I was the problem, asked me to leave, and denied a refund. The police had to get involved before I finally got my refund. Save yourself the misery and stay somewhere else instead.

Hotel is clean and well located, the room is pretty nice and Oksana, the lady at the front desk, was very kind and professional, she even helped me to sign up for IHG One Rewards.

I booked this hotel to get ready in for my wedding and sadly the photos that they use online for the king suite with the jetted tub are a complete catfish and do not match what the room actually looks like. I thought the front desk made an honest mistake, but the hotel is extremely outdated, smells of mildew, has broken lamps, and an elevator that we got stuck in.

Adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful, and furnishings were new and in very good condition; bed linens were OK. But the building clearly did not receive a renovation at the same time as the remodel. So the walls and doors as well as infrastructure (a/c and heating units, elevators) are pretty rough. Room was fundamentally clean, but carpet was stained in multiple places, sink and shower unit seals looked moldy. Rough, thin facial and toilet tissue. Not a good value.

I was not impressed with the scramble eggs. They were awful. Need to use real eggs. The rest of services were great. Would stay again
