Holiday Inn LANCASTER, an IHG Hotel

Very pleased that they reached out shortly after I checked in.

Good location, easy walking to lots of things downtown. Staff was professional and helpful.

Nice property

Nice place. Clean. Convenient to the convention center at the Marriott two blocks away. Lots of commerce and dining options around. In hotel breakfast buffet for under $15 per person was quite decent with hot (scrambled eggs, sausages, country fried potatoes) and cold (package, cereal, fruit, and yogurt parfaits) options for everyone.

The property was clean and close to area restaurants and shops. I would not recommend the breakfast though.

Bedroom was not quite clean and some of the accessories were lacking. For example, the soap/lotion/shampoo dispenser are put in hard to reach locations.

Nice king room, but it’s noisy from downtown street noise and very busy here. I’d pick a different area to stay if you’re able too.

Hotel was nice. Walking distance from Centre. Imperial hotel mistook our advance order for take away and did not let us sit initially, then shifted my family on the bar tables, then manager said we cannot sit at bar but offered us a table finally. Bad experience.

My room had a shower that didn't drain. The whole floor smell like weed. Plenty of noise throughout the night. No breakfast buffet and didn't like the service

The iron did not seem to function well when I tried to add water for steam which was a little frustrating and when I tried to speak to someone about it, they seemed disinterested in solving the issue. Otherwise, the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable.

It is a good one.

Overall the hotel stay was as average as you get. I was not terribly impressed. The Imperial was very good as far as a breakfast accommodation but the added to the room for it was almost the same price as walk in dining so that gets a “meh” as well. The room was a bit small and cramped, the tub didn’t drain right, the mini fridge wasn’t cold, and the coffee in the room for two had 1 cup and three decaf kcups. Any one of these things is not a big deal but together it adds up to a very unimpressive stay that’s slightly overpriced for what you get. I wouldn’t NOT stay there again, but I’ll definitely seek alternatives next trip to Lancaster before going with the again.
