Holiday Inn OMAHA DOWNTOWN - WATERPARK, an IHG Hotel

I did like the attention of the staff in everything in general thank you

Not clean! The couch had a large stain on one of the cushions, the towels smelt like chlorine, there was a long black hair in one of the towels (I am blonde), mold on the bottom of the shower curtain, and the room was not cleaned once during our two-night stay.

28 days later, and i still have not had the hold lifted off my card for incidentals. While i do belive this is the card companies issue, it also comes back to the hotel, because all i need is a document from them, with letterhead, showing $0.00 as my final balance. They are unwilling or unable to do this, so that is why they are getting the 1 star review. Either make your front desk staff competent enough to type $0.00 on an invoice, or fully disclose that your deposit for incidentals will be held for 30 days

Notice a few updates which was needed and turned out mostly nice. The new flooring around our toilet has already bubbled up and grown scales of some sort from either urine or a leak from the toilet. I’ve never seen anything like this at a hotel before and it not be addressed immediately. Front desk lady is nice.

Rooms were great. Parking was tight

Maintenance man was super helpful with the tv and gave the kids beachballs to play with in the pool. Early check-in was much appreciated as well.

The elevator traffic

The hotel itself was very nice. I had booked it for the waterpark because we were traveling with my four year old son. When we arrived we found out they were completing work on the pool and the water was very cold. Additionally, we booked this property for proximity to the airport and the shuttle option and were surprised that it ran with very limited hours (that did not include our departure time). I was also very surprised to find I had to pay for parking. Next time I'll do more research before booking.

Worked great for my work trip, only issues I had was the key kept not working had to have it redone 3 times

Room was big and nice, but arcade is pointless big room like 4 machines water park area was ok but very very crowded and pool wasn't very warm for being an indoor pool and restaurant inside was not very good for price

Just there for an overnight before airport next day. Happy with room and attached bar and restaurant. Great service both places.

The staff was wonderful. Michelle at the front desk was so helpful, kind, and patient. She was great! My only issues were cleanliness; the dirty sheets on the pull out bed, the cloudy pool water full of floaties, and the potential cockroach in our room (I took a pic if someone wants to verify?). Overall though, my kids had a great time, the staff was wonderful, and i’m very understanding about how some cleaning things can be accidentally forgotten.
