Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF, an IHG Hotel

The wrong date was put in for my stay, the website glitched after I fixed my mistake of putting the incorrect date. I was not able to get a refund or change my stay date for the next day. Expedia did nothing to help me.

Mcdonalds and Kroger was right across the street so we didnt have to worry too much about needs! while we stayed there we didn't hear any noises from other rooms either so very quiet!

Our room smelled of melded really bad, this is the second time staying and the rooms smelled this way. Had to go and buy odor eater for the room. Don’t think we will stay again.

Grandkids loved the swimming pool.

Had a great stay! Very clean and felt very safe. Bed was comfy. Would stay again.

It was perfect for a business stop over.

Booked this right on for country group Shenandoah. The hotel staff member was rude and uncooperative. We didn’t even get to check in. We instead paid for two more different rooms at the Fairfield. Horrible look for Poplar Bluff as a town.

Bed were very comfortable, could use more pillows and the pool room was extremely warm but the water was cool. It was a good stay overall

Was ignored at check in with two staffers changing shift and just chatting away with me standing at checkout. Check in experience nothing to rave about. Elevator was broken on last visit, one of two. This time, barely working, very slow, doors not working properly and very bad sounds. Motel was crowded and may have been understaffed. Our room was clean and bathroom had been updated, but carpet seemed old and a/c very noisy. Public areas were lacking any charm and were not impressive. Overall: not a good experience, though am a fan of Holiday Inn Express, just not this one.

Great breakfast options.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and had no problems. This stay was the worst I've seen in a long time. The elevators were just scary. I felt like they would just stop working at any minute. And there was mold on the shower ceiling! I will not stay again after this horrible experience.

2nd stay at this hotel. Double queen room on 4th floor was very comfortable, quiet and clean. Option to pay a little extra for bfast at the restaurant within the hotel was nice. Toilet in room was quite short and 1 of 2 elevators sounds and feels like it needs maintenance when reaching destination. Id stay again. Good price for accommodations.

Our stay was amazing and the lady who checked us in and was also back in the morning was sooo nice!! She happened to be from Indy which is where we were traveling from and she made us feel like we were home!! Very Clean and great location!

Everything was perfect , breakfast was above expectations
