Holiday Inn RALEIGH DOWNTOWN, an IHG Hotel

Loud banging from hotel construction woke us up at 7am, two days in a row. Wallpaper peelimg and you can see the gunk behind it. Holes in the towels. Parking lot elevator wasnt working at certain times

New state all quick and easy

Amazing service upon arrival.

Great location downtown near all the restaurants and night spots. Ease of entry to check in, with parking in garage. Parking available off street for guests

Only one elevator worked. Limited breakfast items. Room was dirty!! Only ONE microwave for the entire building. I stayed for the convenience. Ugh!

Our curtains had what looked to be black mold on them (I was told it was a residue from the curtain material but idk how much I trust it). Our room needed some TLC (lightbulb missing, outlets not working properly, tv had lines, and lampshade had cracks.) but the bed was really comfy

Only one issue. One of the elevators did not work during new Years which meant longer wait times, luckily the other elevator was quick. Thanks for a very nice stay, the rooms are nice and elegant. The views are amazing. The staff was very friendly, especially Melanie.

Clean room, hot water, coveniebt and safe location. Very walkable. Great stay and I would return.

The location is great but the hotel has seen better days. They only have two elevators but one is out of service. Tiles in the lobby are cracked. Same as elevator. Our rooms ac/heating didn’t have any working room controls. The temp was okay but a few degrees warmer than I like. The shower head also wasn’t working correctly and spraying water but not in the right direction. The staff was friendly and security was doing a great job. The people and location is all it has going at the moment.

I don't like the parking situation.

One of the two lobby elevators still doesn't work..seems that it's been out of order for almost two full years, if not longer. There's just an overall bad odor on most of the floors.

hallway and rooms were smelly. restroom door was hitting the commode and was not able to close. crampy and stuffy.

Its a good location, but the hotel is out dated. The bathroom door in our room was broken and the door to the room was hard to shut and open. The cable kept going in and out. Only one elevator was operational so you always had to wait a long time for one. There was no hot water in the shower, but the sink water was scalding hot. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Definitely wouldnt stay here again or recommend to anyone

Hotel beds sleep great and was very clean but property needs to be updated badly it's very old

It was a last minute booking to relax after business engagement.
