The man who checks you in is very friendly! We love their King suites. We have stayed a lot of different hotels in st George but Howard Johnson hotel is our favorite. Clean I even check the top of the shower wall it is always clean. It is very quiet on the top floor as well as the bottom floor. It has a couch and coffee table a tv room and the fridge is bigger than other hotels it has its own freezer which is really nice. A bigger microwave than other hotels as well. While rest in bed it has its own tv in there as well. The king size bed is very comfortable. There is a huge closet and a safe which is an extra security in my opinion. It doesn’t matter which king suite we get it is always clean and comfortable that’s why we always stay there.

Very clean & the livingroom, bedroom area & bathroom spaces very nicely organized for comfort @ privacy. Our initial office manager was very friendly & accomodating during our Christmas holiday season visit. Would definitely recommend to others & family.

House keeping comes every other day. Understand why, however when I asked them to changes my sheets. The gentleman told me they didn’t look dirty. I told them again, he said they didn’t look dirty. How the hell would he know what was going on in the room. If they are going to clean every other day. Then they should clean, vacuum, bathrooms, actual clean the room. Not just take the trash out. I can do that myself. Do better!!

The cleaning was the worst and the cleaners were very rude. We asked for toilet paper and clean towels because after cleaning they didn't put in new ones or leave any paper, so we had to ask and the cleaning man didn't think much of what we said and he behaved that way.

So, the last time I stayed here they charged me an additional $20 and said a towel and pillow were missing. This time, a total of three charges 1) $20 2) $230 3) $20, so far have been attempted on my debit card. Now, I have to deal with the inconvenience of have my debit card replaced! Utter BS!!!

I honestly thought people were exaggerating when they said this property wasn’t the cleanest. I’m not even that picky. Unfortunately, it didn’t even smell clean walking in. The bare minimum was “cleaned” (sink, toilet, tub—I hope), and beds made. But the majority of the surfaces—walls, doors, and corners were dusty, stained, and just grimey. The breakfast was limited with very little protein options. If you have a restricted diet—it definitely will not work. I have stayed at cheaper hotels in the middle of nowhere that had spotless rooms and better breakfast options. This was disappointing.

Nice, clean hotel for the price. Convenient location. Pet friendly. Okay experience overall but be aware of unauthorized charges to credit card. The $100 pet incidental deposit that I was told would be refunded morning of check-out was NOT refunded. I tried to get ahold of hotel to dispute but was unable to get ahold of someone after calling several times and ultimately had to dispute with credit card company. We stayed one night and only used the room to sleep, you wouldn't have been able to tell an animal was even in the room. Absolutely no reason for deposit to have not been refunded.
