Property somewhat outdated and old. I also booked a double bed and because I didn’t add the other person to the reservation before hand I was switched to a king. Both King and double was available when I booked only a fee days before my check in date. So obviously its a reason the double was selected. Maybe a curtesy email/call to confirm if double bed is needed would have made this a better experience.

1. rude front desk people make you feel unwelcome 2. multiple false fire alarms in the early morning at 7am and no one from hotel to guild us back, we have to ask the fireman ourselves 3. the ceiling/floor will make noisy sound whenever someone walks over 4. bathroom floor is flooded when we checked in

Older property. Clean but nothing fancy and or sophisticated about it. As usual, they put Expedia members and some of the least desirable room location locations. Ground flor near the parking lot. Not cool too much noise.

I stayed in a room on the first floor with a patio that viewed the parking lot. Not exactly the view or environment I was hoping for. The carpet in the room was old and had many stains. The bed was worn down and has two distinct indentions from being used so much. There isn’t much in the way of facilities other than the pool and hot tub area which was over run by kids/families. The staff did their job but weren’t particularly service focused. If you have kids, and are on a budget, it’s probably an ok choice. Anyone looking for something nicer should avoid.

It was the noisiest stay I have had in decades. Old building, loud noises.

Definitely good value for money. However, the beds are showing signs of wear and could use replacing. Additionally, the gentleman at reception could bring a bit more cheer to his interactions

This was our second visit to the Indian Wells Resort within 10 years. We had a fantastic time once again. Both times we've stayed, the property has been incredibly quiet, likely due to the time of year—one visit was off-season, and the other was during Christmas week. We really enjoy the resort for its scenic beauty, relaxing pools, excellent room sizes, and overall reasonable service. If you're looking for more space, we highly recommend booking a suite rather than a standard room. The pricing is fair and reasonable, and we appreciate that there are no resort fees. The resort is often referred to as the Lucy-Desi Arnaz Resort, due to its history with the famous couple. While there are photos of Lucy and Desi throughout the property, particularly in black and white, which can be a bit overwhelming at times, we understand that they loved the resort and wanted to share their experience with future guests. The history behind the hotel is part of its charm, and it's clear that Lucy and Desi had a special connection to the place. There aren't many restaurants immediately near the property. We found ourselves traveling 15 minutes into Rancho Mirage for more desirable dining options. With the exception of Christmas Eve that had a prescribed menu and rather expensive dinner package, we did not see the restaurant or the gift shop servicing guests during our Christmas week stay. One tip: be sure to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the inside of door if you need maid service.

This resort hotel has the worst customer service ever. They blamed all faults on the customers instead of having responsibility for what happened inside the hotel due to the fire alarm. I haven’t ever heard any hotel business tell their customer that they couldn’t sleep early and it’s their fault and 6:00am is business hour so it was ok for keeping fire alarm going on/off. Who cares about business hours when booking a room to sleep and rest in a hotel!?!

Front desk staff looked unhappy and impatient when we checked in. Coffee machine and refrigerator in the room didn’t work. We had to throw our food in the next day. Fire alarms were triggered in the early morning in that building.

I used to come here annually with my family every Xmas but what a downgrade this hotel has gotten. If you came here back when it was truly a resort with the ping pong tables , 2-3 jacuzzis , extensive swimming pool , grand buffets with a juicing machine you will be HUGELY disappointed. This property is like a haunted , stale place that you could see maybe back in 80s may have glimmered . It’s still livable /stayble but I wouldn’t recommend . This stale place is complete with lobby staff would were barely helpful , it’s like they wanted me out of their hair asap with whatever request I had . Their lobby had a crazy person giving me issues with refilling my water . And my family and I heard running sounds above us but we were on the third floor . The inclusive am breakfast was not special as well . For such a downgrade I have no idea why the hotel was charging the same prices back when it was truly a resort . I’ve never been so shell shocked by a booking , especially since I’ve stayed here so often . Now I hate to write this review but we filled out a room survey and heard nothing back . And I just hope others will not be disillusioned by the Expedia ad . They had put pictures of the previous resort and it looks like now they have taken it off .

It’s a cute hotel don’t get me wrong. Everything I Love Lucy, super cute but I’m not rating my experience on looks. I have a 2 year and kids tend to need their milk warmed, I don’t need to have a microwave inside the room but one for the hotel would be nice. What if you’re staying a week and decide to bring leftovers. There’s a fridge in each room why not have a common space where guest can heat things up? That was the least of my worries, my husband who is a heavy sleeper and I (not so much) went to bed around 11/12 just to be woken up by the upstairs guest. If it was the guest fault, I would not be leave a bad review because I know that’s not the hotel’s fault but when I tell you we (my husband and I) jumped out of our bed because we thought someone got in, is an understatement! I have never in my life been so scared! My husband quickly got out of bed and checked the room, everything was fine. Less than two minutes later, we hear the shower from our upstairs neighbors turn on. I cannot go back to sleep for an hour, I could hear every step they took. Finally, they went to bed and I was able to go to sleep. It was Christmas the next morning and we woke up late, all we wanted was to finish our trip to our families house so we left. I’m sure the amenities are great but unfortunately for us, we will not be returning to enjoy them.

Very disappointed in our stay here. Our reservation was for a pool or golf course view, we got a street view. Very noisy all night. The A/C wall unit sounded like it was falling off the wall it wa so loud and noisy. Someone sniff a smoke alarm downstairs early in the morning disrupting sleep. The water pressure went up and down in the shower. The staff was indifferent and brushed off the issues with our stay, poor customer service.The only nice part was the pool area, enjoyed the heated pool and sunshine but the rest needs a makeover badly. I cannot recommend this hotel at all.
