Quiet, clean, comfortable, no frills hostel just 1/2 a block from Central Park. You will get a little exercise going up and down the stairs because there is no elevator. Small sacrifice though; for hot shower water which actually does get hot, even during the winter.

Staff were great! Rooms and shared places were clean. Definitely would recommend.
A few things I learned...they provide a towel but i wish i had packed a wash rag. The room pictures are accurate, but i still found them smaller than i had anticipated. And there isnt an elevator so make sure your bag is light enough to carry up a few flights!

Private bathroom in shared dormitory is clean. It’s a clean place. Staff are polite. They should’ve had extra heaters in rooms cause it gets really cold. One heater is not enough for the whole room someone took it and putted next to their bed while I was freezing. There was no elevator so be prepared to go up and down the stairs if you need anything. I stayed on fifth floor.

Three blocks from the subway station and across the street from Central Park. I've stayed in hostels all over the world and I would say this is a pretty great one. It's definitely a hostel...but the location is amazing.

I usually don’t like hostels but New York hotels were way out of budget. This hostel is the best I’ve ever been to, the staff were genuinely very chill and nice (especially Miguel), there’s privacy in the sleeping ‘pods’/beds, and it was very clean. The hostel is in a good location, right next to Central Park and a 7 min walk to the subway. Will definitely come back when I visit the big Apple again!!

This an easy 5/5 for its category. A no frills, budget friendly option, with friendly and helpful staff. It was a short stay and I didn’t need much. The staff made it easy from checking my bags to get me set up at check-in. I was fortunate to have respectful roommates. The pod was big enough to sit up straight inside which was a relief.

POD itself that I slept in was great. However room itself was unclean and quite a small space if you have a large suitcase. Thin pillows and mattress but overall a good place if you just want somewhere cheap to rest your head.

If you don't mind no lift this is a fabulous hostel. The pods are great.
The staff give the joint personality and although the area is lacking shops the cafe is serving some great beverages and continental breakfast.
Its just by Central Park, so tempting to walk it.

For the two male bunk bed room there was no description it was a 5 stories walk up very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage ,that there is no outside ventilation in the room and the air conditioning sounded awfully loud when turned on. There was one toilet and one sink per floor.
