This property was excellent. It is close and kind of center of all of the activities and places we were wanting to go to. Our room was sufficient for our family. The continental breakfast was excellent and provided a nice variety of breakfast foods for us and our kids.

The Hotel was very nice and the personnel was very attentive. We liked the pool as well. Our only issue was the limited towels in the pool and the room, it was a time that we needed towels for the pool to come out, we asked for a couple of towels and even dough the staff was really attentive they didn't have more towels.

The breakfast was not very good. The sausage was hard, the bagels were frozen and we had to ask for milk for the cereal as well as yogurt, both of which were forgotten by the staff. I watched another man dig through the cabinets to find the bowls and placed them out for everyone else…in my room, my bathroom sink kept clogging up and the coffee maker in my room was broken.

Staying at the laquinta boone was ok the jotel is dated and needs to be cleaned better on a daily basis. The cleanliness of thw common areas was good, however there were alot of folks being very loud after midnight which allowed for very little sleep

During our stay we opted several times to use the stairs and there was a smokers butt disposal right next to the door with several people smoking right outside making the whole stairwell as well as the hallway leading to our room smell of cigarette smoke. The state of NC has a law that does not allow for smoking near doors. I did notify the staff and I think they sprayed something but it still lingered. There was also a very strong odor in our room of burnt popcorn. We had put food in the fridge and it ruined our food from the smell, it seemed like someone may have burnt a bag of popcorn and then put in in the fridge, it was a very strong smell. Other than that, our stay was pleasant!

The toilet in my room overflowed. The manager made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by asking how long it would take to clean up. The toilet wound up being broken and needed a new part installed. They fix it and clean the bathroom but not one person had a friendly demeanor. There was a couple of homeless people that kept hanging around the side of the building where construction was going on, I witnessed one of them enter the door on the side of the building multiple times as the locking mechanism was broken so he was free enter the building whenever he wanted. My room # 100 was located on the 1st floor by the side of the building they were hanging out at. I watched them walk within a couple feet of my window multiple times on their way across the road to hang out behind the abandoned buildings across the street.Do better.
