Great short stay

The young man that checked us in was awesome! My husband had just had eye surgery and he went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He even gave us a discount and put us in a room close to the lobby. Excellent customer service! My name is Sharon, Jack's wife.

No hot water the whole time I was there.

Roaches in the bathroom counter, dirty towells, room service was not done daily as listed on their portal. The entry door was missing a screw by the lock, therefore the door was not closing completely, but they fixed it upon request. Breakfast was good. Seats in the lobby across from front desk are scratched, discolored giving the impresión of an abandoned place. Their price deserves better conditions. Front desk clerks were very polite and helpul, very nice.

They really need to get with the house keeping. The room was dusty and the floors were not swept. This leads me to believe they literally only change the sheets and wipe down the toilet. I was very uncomfortable my entire stay. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower’s water pressure was atrocious! The water barely came out and it did NOT get hot at all. I will not ever return to this hotel! Because of my fiancé I didn’t give you guys a hard time but we will not return and I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. Ridiculous.

Air Conditioner broke in the middle of the night

The rate was very low but the reviews were high and the pictures looked alright. Check in was slow but fine - helpful even. However, when I got in the room there was a roach on the pillow on one of the beds. When I tried to find it after batting at it with a pillow I saw that there was leftover candy on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. Also on the desk. The road noise is bad enough for the hotel to leave two sets of ear plugs bedside. Mattress is concave in the middle. The door also wasn't tight and could see light from the hall. It was too late in the evening to leave. I do not recommend.

Everything was clean. The property is at a great location. Only thing we didn't love were the shower (very low pressure) and the beds were uncomfortable. Overall it was a good value for what we paid.

We booked the hotel for a 3-night stay, and the first room we had - the suite with a separate bedroom - was in terrible condition. It smelled so musty that we immediately took our hanging clothes back to the car for fear the smell would stick to them. The bathroom and living area were filthy with stains on the walls and furniture. One stain appeared to be blood, but the cleaning staff insisted we were wrong. I refused to allow any of our belongings to touch surfaces other than the desk. We asked the front desk for a room change, and we were moved to a much smaller room but charged the same amount as the larger room. The smaller room was also very dirty. The bathroom floor, walls, and doors had brown stains, so we were not able to bathe for fear of what the brown coloring was. We found hair in both rooms. We didn't arrive to Dallas until late that night, or we would have left the hotel without staying at all. We left the hotel first thing the next morning, and the only redeeming thing about the hotel was how the front desk handled the situation. They assured us that we would not be charged for the remaining two nights of our reservation and apologized for the state of the hotel. The rating is misleading. The property is very old and unclean - to the point that it seems to be a health hazard. Even if you have to pay a little more, find somewhere else to stay.

Great service

I stayed overnight at this hotel in a suite room. The morning of check out I wake to find my jeep windows broken and my vehicle vandalized. I informed front staff and the response was “That happens all the time here” Absolutely no empathy. They even informed me that police officers dont even respond when called about break ins anymore. I would NEVER stay here again and i would not recommend anyone else to stay here. Very unsafe

Our stay was great. The location was safe and convenient. The room was spacious

Comfortable bed and good location for getting around north and northeast Dallas. The breakfast was below standards compared to others at La Quinta and competing brands. We were assigned a 1st floor room that was below the main floor of the hotel and it was a bit tired looking.

At check in I was charged twice for the $75 deposit. I was refunded one immediately, but was told the second would be refunded after the stay. So now, almost 60 days later I’m still trying to get the second $75 refunded back. I called the hotel and they stated I would have to go through my credit card company - which I am doing for a second time, because, since they refunded it once, it “looks” like it was already done. I have spent over an hour trying to explain I was charged twice and only refunded once. No help from the hotel itself. Would not recommend this location EVER. This has been a complete pain. Additionally the room smelled so bad like air freshener- I got home and my family could smell it on my bag/clothes. Do not stay here. They messed up with the double charge and they are not willing to help fix it. Terrible customer service.
