La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glen Rose

We were staying for 4 nights here. We were blessed to stay on the first floor. Our room was very spacious. I love the darkening shade because I get bothered in sleeping with a little light on. The hotel was definitely convenient to where we needed to be at Riverbend Retreat Center. Our bathroom could use a little bit better cleaning or updates. The shower head needs to be changed or cleaned(Tip: Use baking soda and vinegar on the shower head to get those grime off). Also, you probably need to get an exterminator to check because I saw a roach in our bathroom as well and another kind of bug that I had to step on. Other than that, the room is comfortable. The pillows needs some updating. It was yellowish in color and the pillowcases too. Breakfast was good. Typical breakfast items available. Overall, our stay was good regardless of the minor things I described.

Older hotel, not very clean, had bad smell, bed very uncomfortable. Was there 4 days, had to get my own towels one day. Will not stay here again.

We stayed here because it had a suite and we had 4 adults. After getting to the room, we realized the sofa bed was broken. The owner admitted she knew it and didn’t say a word at check in. We were offered a single roll away bed for two people. Thankfully we had a cot we brought with us and my husband was handy and could make it work for the night. Our “view” was a courtyard full of trash and broken pallets.

The front desk experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Before booking, we called and spoke with a gentleman at the front desk who assured us that an extra single bed would be provided. However, upon arriving after a two-hour drive, the front desk manager (a lady) told us they could not accommodate our request. Her response was shockingly rude, saying, *"You spoke to someone else, not me. I’m the manager here. If you want to cancel the booking, I’ll cancel it for you."* This level of dismissiveness is unacceptable, especially for a family traveling with two young children on a road trip. With an event happening in the city, it was nearly impossible to find alternative accommodations for a family of five. The lack of empathy and customer service was incredibly frustrating and added unnecessary stress to our trip. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Overall a good property for the money! Clean rooms, good breakfast! The only thing i dont like is the lighting on the outside entrance of the property. Its hard to see it if you're not paying attention

Loved the Christmas decor made the hotel feel cozy . Room was good and bed was comfy . Pool was green kids got in anyways because they were looking forward to it being an indoor pool . Hot tub looked great even though didn’t get in. Overall great experience. Breakfast was good . My kids are ready to come back for another stay .

Really enjoyed our three nights at this property. Staff went above and beyond - and are very friendly and accommodating. Morning breakfast is extremely good! Huge variety. Bed was comfy!

The person at the desk when we checked in was very helpful. At our request our first floor rooms were changed to the 3rd floor. The eating area was kept very clean and foods well stocked.

Sign at road was missing. Our tv in living room area never worked. No one answered front desk phone when I called to report this. Bed was hard and kind of uncomfortable Overall it was fine but not nice.

Toilet ran and the water pressure in the shower was horrible and my friend has a big cricket on their bed on arrival

We had ordered to have a crib in the room 3 weeks prior to our arrival. When we arrived, I called down to the office to ask if they would bring the crib up, to which I was informed, the wheel on it broke so none were available. We drove 4 hours to be there, and had I been emailed that a crib was no longer available, I would have brought our pack and play but I was not notified. Therefore, I had to go out and purchase another pack and play, putting me out 90$, so that my babe would sleep safely. Despite being told by the office member to “just surround her with pillows.” Sorry but I’m not compromising my child’s safety because yall refused to update your customers on what yall had available. Her service was the worst part of it.

Nice enough , dead random bugs on bathroom floor, bathroom door didn’t close, tub spout water has a serious continual drip problem. The rest of the room was clean and quiet, the staff was courteous and breakfast was very nice.
