La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Austin Capitol / Downtown

A gap under the door for the cricket super highway, constantly catching them in my room. Paint splatter all over the floor in the bathroom

This location should be shut down. It's filthy, falling apart, and infested with both bugs and drug addicts / prostitutes. Parking not included. They have signs up saying under construction, but appears that it's only an excuse for the poor conditions.

Needs improvement inside and cleaning outside

I understand the facility is under construction, but the room was filthy in my opinion. Floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed and the bathroom floor is quite dirty. Sink took a while to drain. Overall - will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Room was clean but didn’t have a lot of parking when we arrived, was not prepared for valet service.

Staff is great, love the guy at the front desk originally from Chicago. My only feedback is that the facility needs updating. The shower curtain was ripped and broken, the shower head sprayed everywhere. Instead of sweeping the bathroom, a Dyson or something to pick up everything. Minimal suggestions that I think can go a long way.

Best customer service from Samiria and Jonathan very friendly, hospitable ,helpful they were awesome ! Definitely will continue to stay here. From Mr.Guerrero

This was the worst hotel ever I've ever stayed Where should I I start there is no toilet paper there is no hot water there was cockroaches In the room one of the pillow cases had blood and then the parking lot is extremely expensive also the parking lot slots are really small pick up doesn't fit also the rooftop of my truck was scratched by the concrete because the parking lot it's not even 8 feet high the swimming pool wasn't working there was a cluster f*** I reception because they overbooked the property for the weekend I had to wait 30 minutes just to check in ice machine was out awarding there was water all over the walkways this emergency staircase were locked cut and using there was only one elevator in the lobby entrance to go to the car garage this hotel is This hotel is unsafe when called the front desk about the water they told me to hold on they would get back to me because they were really busy in the front in the corner and answer the phone and also this time there is no maintenance and when I asked for the manager or general manager they were they did not answer cause in the weekend and they will be here until Monday morning We were not the only customers trying to get a hold of the manager the front desk they were we can only do limited things without the Manager approval this is ridiculous that there's no management on duty over the weekend specially in this hotel is next to the Texas capital in downtown Austin I am really disappointed in La Quinta hotel....

It was perfectly located downtown. For an older hotel they keep it pretty clean.

The location was the only good thing about this place, besides the price which is very affordable. There was no parking and the building itself is very unkept and old. Room was smelly (from smoke) but not terribly. I only spend the one night which was ok for me but wouldn’t have stayed longer.

El cuarto tiene todo lo necesario para una cómoda estadía, pero el estado de los muebles y la limpieza en general no es la mejor. La alfombra se ve desgastada y algo sucia, el baño y la tina estan muy descuidados, y la iluminación no era suficiente para ver con claridad.

The pictures look way better than the actual condition of the property. I was nervous at this property bc it was not a nice hotel. It was extremely run down and a little on the rough side. Front desk staff was very nice tho

Property not the same as pictures no hot breakfast but waffles rooms had roaches

This was the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Everything was broken/sketchy. The pool was closed due to construction, not that I would have felt comfortable getting into the pool after taking a look at it. The staff were friendly and helpful but the infrastructure was not what I would expect from your brand. There were bugs on the floor of the room and the toilet screeched when flushed. I would not come back.

No shampoo or body soap. Not allot of towels. Found 2 cockroaches. Small 32 inch TV. Parking garage was sketchy and the 24hr card reader was barely hanging off the wall.

This property definitely need some renovations and room needed some serious maintenance.

I understand the property is under construction but wow is it more like a motel 6. Smells musty and just appears dirty. I’ve stayed at quality inns before and I didn’t expect this. We arrived late at night and left first thing because austin was a pit stop. I guess for the price and location it’s fine… staff was nice though!

Upon arrival, door was wide open. At night, I was visited by cockroaches on the walls and ants in the bed. The show ceiling looked like mold was growing.

Toliet stopped working in the middle of the night because there was no one to come look at or anything else they gave us another room sonwe had to pack up all of our belongings transfer to another room on a different floorthat room had zero toliet paper... no one ava to being any up to the room so another trip to the front desk when I got there 2 employees behind the desk on the phone... and parking you HAVE to use their services another charge.. the doors that were supppsed to be secured were propped open, one ice machine one the ground floor for the entire facility

This hotel has a very convenient location. Yo can walk to different places to enjoy parks, museums and other recreation places. Nevertheless, I wouldn't stay there again, unless it gets a lot of improvements. the hotel facilities were really worn out, the swimming pool is very small and it is out of service. Beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom was too small and had mold. Breakfast was poor. Oranges were almost rotten. I've been to several La Quinta hotels, but I didn't like this one at all. Staff was nice, though.
