La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

The property was a mess with trash all around. The bathroom and shower did not look clean and there was build up on the toiletries which clearly indicated they were either not replaced or being refilled with each guest. I messaged them ahead of time requesting a portable crib and got a response that they woukd check on availability. Never got a response-it was a bot I guess and I didn't realize it. They didn't have one so the bot didn't work well. The area is sketchy and we did not feel safe. Never again. It was gross.

Hotel was okay, definitely got what we paid for. The front desk staff was very friendly so that was a plus. There are no restaurants near the hotel, and the hotel has no dining options on site except for the standard breakfast. Room was okay, we had glass on our floor when we checked in and the floors and walls were super dirty and the shower wouldn't drain but the bed was clean and comfy so we made do. There are no mini fridges and the vending machines were out of water so couldn't keep anything cool. Hotels.com said it had shuttle to and from airport, got to hotel and it was $12USD each way and the hotel would not budge on price. The shuttle driver dropped us off at the complete wrong spot in the airport when we checked out and we had to race around to find the correct location 2 levels up. As mentioned, it was fine for the price but won't be back.

Property location is great to move to events. Cleanliness in general, they have to work on that

After check-in, I was on the third floor and had to go outside and walk a distance to get to the elevator to the third floor. It did not feel safe to me. My room did not have a chain on the door, which also did not make me feel safe. The room was large with a big bathroom and the bed was comfortable with good pillows. The hotel is very outdated and a little rundown. The price was great, but I had to pay a shuttle to pick me up from the airport and take me back at $12 a pop. Would probably not stay there again. The staff was nice and helpful.

The lock on the door was broken. The room was dirty.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in felt very unsafe with a drunk person that had a very belligerent mouth next door all night long the room was so dirty and disgusting I itched from the time I walked into the time I left it was absolutely the worst experience ever

Everything about this property from staff to room, dirty, rude, hostile, animal abusers. Making a police report against this property.

Allowed animal abuse, allowed a poor abandoned cat to sit in a hot hotel room.and then argued with me to take it out so i could take it to a rescue, nasty, dirty property, harrassment from staff, rude beyond belief staff, trying to charge my card again for 200$ ya no, i have pictures of mold, dirt, hair in the walls and doors.

Everything clean except for the carpet. Tv remote didn't work.

It was an older hotel and could have been alot cleaner on the property and in the hotel room.no refrigerator or micorwave.ice only one ice machine working in the main office

I would have given 3 stars but the shuttle driver, Art, made it a solid 4!! He was so sweet and even took me to the QuickTrip down the street to get some ice cream and waters. He warned me that the vending machines on property are overpriced and typically are out of water. There is nothing really walkable around the hotel, it's slightly industrial. I think this property is pretty average for the price (I paid $80 for a double on a Sunday night) so I didn't expect much. There were no bugs in my room and it was relatively clean. Some of the outlets on the table didn't work. I did not use the pool, breakfast, shower, or coffee maker in the room so I'm unable to comment on those aspects. I was a little let down that there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, but I read online that only some of the rooms had a mini fridge. The TV was very nice and semi-modern. I couldn't find the remote in the room so I called the front desk and they sent Art up with a remote that worked! Another amenity that I did not use that I wasn't expecting was the "room service". I found the flyer and QR code while looking for the remote and looked at the menu - not sure where the food comes from but it's Italian. Decent prices but had a $20 order minimum, and I just wasn't that hungry. The airport shuttle is very convenient, $12 each way. Overall average stay for the price and a place to rest your head temporarily near the airport.

I books two queen beds room and the beds where not queen size the restroom had mold on top of the tile in the shower because shower head was leaking when in use

It was disappointing at best. Live and dead bugs in the tub. The room was dingy and smelled bad. Stains on the linens. The pool looked neglected. I will never stay here again. Out of the 7 days I booked we left after the first day to find elsewhere to stay.
