For a nights stay within this price range I give it a 9 out of 10. The only disappointment was the mattress. Not very comfortable. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean, with nice amenities of a keurig, refrigerator and soaps/shampoo etc. Pool looked inviting and had a happening tiki bar on premises. Only thing that would have made it better was if there was a continental breakfast offered.

Very nice, non-chain hotel. A little bit older, but clean, safe, and quiet. A nice hotel for a night or two in Sarasota.

Clean, convenient, staff was greay and friendly. Bed was comfortable was mot a fan of the bed frame though. Every time my hubby or I rolled over it squeaked got woken up a lot from the sound. Frame was on top of wooden pedestal

The hotel is completely under renovation and not even close to complete. It looks like it hasn't been renovated in 40 years. I'm not sure how they got an Occupancy Certificate from the City, as there are open wires and ceilings, everywhere.
Depressed area, full of close storefronts ... ghetto, would be a kind word to describe the location. This hotel shouldn't be open, until renovations are complete.

It’s obvious that they are rebuilding after the hurricane. But our room was better than the pictures. The staff was friendly and helpful.
