Clarion Inn Idaho Falls Riverfront

Came up to watch my son play and the Clarion was perfect and half the price of 90% of all the other hotels in town.

The room was big with 2 comfy beds, good ac. But other reviews i read that were recent said they were doing remodeling, i think it needs more work. The breakfast wasnt great. The staff was super nice and friendly. I mean overall i would stay there again but i think they could use some more work, there was a ton of water damage in our room. But i really loved how spacious and clean it was. Friendly staff always makes it better too! Some needed improvements but all around a good stay!

Staff was awesome, facilities was clean and well maintained, breakfast was good. Very enjoyable stay.

We needed a replacement blanket because ours was dirty. I asked staff where to get one. He said “down in laundry”. I go to get one, pick one up, and get confronted by management “what are you doing?” I explained the situation and they said I couldn’t have a normal top comforter, I had to have a spare blanket instead, which was super thin. Me and my child were cold all night.

It was nice property. Everything seemed clean. Outside view of river and across the river was beautiful. The breakfast however was disgusting.

The rooms are in a state of remodeling our room had so many unfinished items and the repairs we noticed were very sub par and unfinished. The property was noisy with repairs

The paint was peeling, electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall, the floor was filthy with dirt and crumbs, there was pubic hair in the towels

No hot water! The pillows were yellow. Wish I had paid a little bit more and stayed somewhere nicer.

Hotel is run down. The rooms were filthy, sheets and bed spreads were stained. Hair in the shower, blood on the toilet. Smelled damp and musk. Will definitely not stay there again.

This hotel over all was not as it was advertised on the website. I will never stay at this place again and I don’t suggest anyone else does as well.

The secure door to get access to the building was unlocked..our deadbolt on our room did not work only the slip lock but there was a door stop that people were obviously using no phone no internet..but lits of sorry signs everywhere. When we found out there was no lock on the door after driving 12 hours tired we tried to call the desk no answer gave another personal cell phone #to leave a message..Just a joke I walked down to the desk more oh im so sorry you can move rooms we were already in bed .. top it off with a ln awful so called breakfast..whole experience was awful..I called Hotel.com today, told my story got my call back # never called me back..ALL of this puts a sour taste on both my stay and Hotel.com

Microwave did not work. Fridge did not work. Bathtub and sink very slow to drain.

Clean. Efficient. No fuss. Great water pressure in the shower. Coffee and Roll on down the free way!

Overall a nice stay. Lacking some of the modernization of the room having too few electrical outlets by the beds. The pool was interesting as it was hot water and the hot tub was non functional and cold. Breakfast was nice and good variety. Spacious lobby and rooms. Privacy is a little difficult in the room toilet as no door exists.

Awful hotel. Very unclean, dirty sheets, pillow cases, flooring. There were 3 hobo spiders in our room (poisonous spiders), yellow stains on bed linens, dirt and tree leaves all over the floor. Looked as if room Had not been cleaned and bed was made with used, unwashed sheets. No soap or shampoo whatsoever. The free “breakfast” was awful and I overheard another guest telling the front desk that the pool had algae growing in it.

I checked in at 230am, I called in advance to let them know of my late arrival to which they said "we are 24/7 and will be available for you". When I got there the system was undergoing maintenance, which can take 6- 8hours according to the manager. They could not see the rooms without the system so they didn't know where to put me, this makes sense. The issue I have is knowing your system could be unavailable, print your rooms so you know where to put your guests. They ultimately put me in a "sevice room" with a single bed, I reserved 2 beds. They wound up putting me in an "under renovation room" with two beds, fill of dust and some amenities missing due to the construction, being more 330am and exhausted, we slept as the manager said later in the morning we could sort it all out. Sadly in the morning it was just check in and payment. I really don't think that first night should have been charged....5 hours and then moved room, to only slightly better. We traveled here for bereavement and we choose cheap, we dont mind a bit on the lower end of hotel stay, but do expect a good experience. No one reasonable would think that the first night the way it was should be full charge. I also asked to not disturb for the first night till late morning, to allow a few more hours of sleep only to be door knocked at 9am for the check in v. to handle the poor check in. I enjoyed our stay. We have stayed here twice now. When our room sprung a leak in our bathroom ceiling, they were quick to change our room. And when my daughter freaked out about a small spider in her bed, they quickly had onsite housekeeping staff change her sheets. The pool water had alot of chlorine in it. The hot tub wasn't hot at all. It was actually colder than the pool.

Only one towel in room and it was hand towel with stain. They don’t accept cash for simple soda. Found hair in one of the beds

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless.
