We love staying at the Lyle when we have a Geta way in DC. The neighborhood feel and proximity is the best part. Our room this time was in a less desirable part of the hotel. With heavy alley way noise, trucks etc. All in all so great though. We will make sure to request higher up next time.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lyle hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and provided a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved the Nespresso machine in my room – a perfect touch to start the day.
We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Bee's Knees cocktails I've ever had! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very responsive staff! Every part of the hotel was very tastefully designed. Our room was very thoughtfully furnished and the space was generous. The restaurant was very good with reasonable prices.

The property was clean. Done yhongs were a little dated. There was an understated adult theme that made me wonder if they had day rates. If so, it was very subtle.

Super quiet property with helpful staff. Very clean. No elevator delays. Don’t miss the on-premiss restaurant/bar Lyle’s. The staff is fantastic, food is great and the ambiance is very nice. Many people who aren’t guests of the hotel frequent Lyle’s. Close to DuPont Circle/ metro/popular shopping and restaurants.

Bathroom light switches were filthy with caked up brown/black residue in crevices. Water during shower smelled of sewage. AC unit in middle of room made gurgling noise throughout duration of stay. Limited counter space in bathroom. darker ambiance near door

Not sure if the property is having plumbing issues but my room in the 4th floor had constant plumbing noises throughout the duration of my stay. Like a gurgling noise. The water in the shower gave off a sewage odor. The light switches in the bathroom were filthy..caked up black and brown stuff in the crevices. Quite off putting

We actually stayed at this hotel twice. The experiences were night and day. The first day the staff was not particularly friendly when we checked in. A simple good evening or welcome to the hotel would’ve done the trick. However, the second stay in the same week had a different set of staff who were much friendlier and welcoming.
The highlight of this property is it proximity and the hotel bar/restaurant was excellent. More over the bellhop was very nice as was the valet.
