I spent a great night at the hotel. Everything was good, except for the valet parking overnight which was $57 and very overprice in my opinion. The rest was just fantastic, the views, the staff and the food.

Generally we like the Manadrin, albeit was not at the high standard of the Hong Kong Mandarin. Speaking frankly the whole hotel needs a renovation as it is looking very dated now. Also, the room amenities were very below par, with simple items like kettles, coffee machines, tooth brushes, slippers, water missing in the room.
The above said, the majority of staff were very welcoming.

Good area. Lobby is nice. The bar and restaurant were very good.
The room was unimpressive and not up to Mandarin Oriental standards. The bathroom provided very few amenities. One sink and small space were unremarkable. The shower head was nonfunctional and had to use handheld.
The balcony space has zero privacy and you’re up against your neighbor’s balcony with see through line of sight.
The fitness facility was horrible. Basically a bunch of broken down machines in multiple rooms that were previously guest rooms. No fitness space per se.
Glad I only stayed two nights as any more time there would have been uncomfortable. Not staying at this hotel again and definitely very different experience from the multitude of other MO facilities I have stayed at.
