The noise level surrounding the property was a bit loud for most of the night. The hotel, however, was very beautiful and comfortable. There were lots of eating places around the area and not to far from Downtown and transportation.

My Thanksgiving weekend was absolutely perfect! I loved staying right by the beach. Having breakfast on the pool deck with a stunning beach view felt like pure luxury. I can’t wait to go back!

Average hotel. Had cigarettes ashes on nightstand when we entered the room. There was someone screaming and fighting with someone in the middle of the night.

It was so terrible I couldn't stay. The rooms are dirty. The building itself is dirty. You have to park in the back where It look like a junk yard. The hear didn't work so it was cold. The door didn't have a safety lock. If you looking for some cheap and old this is the place. They never answer they phone the place is weird.

We booked the Midtown Hotel in New Orleans through Expedia because the price was more affordable. The first impression at the reception was good: the space was clean, organized, and smelled nice. Unfortunately, the experience worsened significantly after that. We received our keys and headed to the parking lot, which was filled with construction materials. The elevator was another issue: extremely dirty, with a very worn-out and neglected appearance. When we reached the fourth floor, where our room (number 424) was located, we were greeted by a strong smell of marijuana, even though we had signed a no-smoking agreement during check-in. Inside the room, things got even worse: there was a strong odor of mold and dust, unfinished walls with visible plaster, and poorly done repairs, such as holes in the ceiling covered only with filler. The room was extremely basic, with only a bed and a table. The toilet bowl was loose, posing a risk of falling, and the overall environment felt unsafe and neglected. Thankfully, the mattress was in good condition, but we brought our own pillows, which helped a little. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. It seems they are operating in the middle of a renovation, putting guests in unfinished rooms to keep the place running. It was a very bad experience, and we will certainly not return.

Easily the worst cheap hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Slow and easily hostile management. The rooms smell very strongly of mold. Most things are barely working. The bed felt damp under the sheets

We have stayed here multiple times & this last time was one of the best. The room was better than expected. They added a gate for the onsite parking which I like. Overall great for the price we paid.

When we arrived to the property I walked in to check into our room and front desk was not happy. She seemed annoyed I was checking in, on her phone the whole time. The machine wouldn’t let her make two keys and she was complaining about that and saying they need to tell everyone the problems they’re having before they arrive. The room we first got was absolutely disgusting! Smelled and very old. I couldn’t walk on the carpet. I left my shoes next to my bed and put them on when I got out of bed. Our heat didn’t work either. Woke up and was freezing. We left early morning and when we arrived back I told front desk and she was very rude about it. Told me I couldn’t switch rooms, called I’m assuming the manager and he came down and switch my room. He didn’t acknowledge me or anything. No sorry or anything. The second room we got was so much better. New beds, new carpet and nice tv. No complaints on the second room we had! We got clean towels every morning which was nice. The last day we did ask for toilet paper and was told someone would bring it and no one ever brought us any. They are doing construction and the new rooms are updated and pretty nice! Basic, no phones or coffee or anything like that, but they’re nice.

This is the jankiest hotel ever. Our room had a switch on the wall to turn on the heat/air. Only the heat worked and there was no working thermostat, so if you got hot, you had to flip the switch off. It was already hot when we walked in. I went to the front desk to request a different room. The guy working the desk was the best part about this hotel. He took me to 3 other rooms. The first two, the heat worked the same way. The third, actually felt like it had a working air conditioner, so we took it. Wrong! There was a thermostat on the wall, but it wasn't functional. There was cool air blowing but you couldn't turn it off. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The toilet squealed really loud when you flushed it. I dont know how this place stays in business.
