Mizpah Hotel

Every time I stay I have a great experience! Friendly staff, convenient location, fun experiences, and lots of history!

The only thing I will say is in a Sports Lounge or any lounge I don't expect every channel to be turned to Fox News. Better to keep it neutral. I expected ESPN and baseball etc. I don't need Fox on vacation. Other than that it was lovely.

We wanted to stay at Mizpah Hotel due to its notoriety as America's "most haunted" hotel! The "ghost tour" was cheesy; should focus more on actual history with a few spooky stories to punctuate it rather than playing with dowsing rods, repurposed stud finders and calling out to "spirits" in the dark basement. No "actual" supernatural encounters on our trip (hahaha). We loved the antique charm of the place. Staff and service was great. Not much in the way of amenities, but wasn't expecting much from such an aged place. Food was pretty good, even though Dempsey's overcooked our filets. Lady In Red Zinfandel is a good wine choice for dinner. Couldn't believe the lobby bar closed at 9pm! Overall, a fun weekend adventure ahead of the Halloween season.

Love the hotel it's self, alwsys had nice rooms but they put us in a pet room (we didn't bring one) and the urine smell was aweful. Our rooms have always been nice but this time our room looked worn out.

Ideal hotel for a one night stay, serve great food, bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast great

Great hotel in the middle of the desert. Cool history and fun haunted stigma.

The Mitzpah is always a pleasant place to stay. The food is the best in town.

I liked the front desk clerks at check-in and check-out. The hotel ambience was amazing. The only drawback was the in-hotel cafe. The service was horrible - a sign states wait to be seated, we waited for 5 minutes, waitress walked by the entrance 3 times and did not acknowledge us. We then walked into the restaurant and the same waitress said she would be right with us and we waited another few minutes then decided to leave.

Liked the Antique look of hotel and rooms. The Floor in the Bathroom was sticky, and the toilet was plugged. Maybe a little Continental Breakfast for cost

Love this place when traveling through Nevada

The decor was lovely. Dining choices were extremely limited though. The town could use a bit of an overhaul. All in all still had a good experience.

The property is beautiful and unique. However the room we were in was decorated very nicely however the claw foot tub needs to be fixed somehow. No place to put your toiletries and the shower curtain touches you while you’re showering. Yuk

Mizpah is a desert gem. I’ll stay here next time I’m in Tonopah and I might come to Tonopah just to stay here again

We always stay at the Mizpah when coming through Tonopah! Love the building, rooms, bar, and restaurant. Last time we were there they had a whole vegan menu which was excellent.

Liked that it was historic. Clean and beautiful. Wi fi did not work in our room on 3rd floor. Dining was expensive.

This was a fun stay as it brings you into a fancy time long ago. It has its quirks as it is old but worth the stay. Better than your normal hotel if you like a big touch of ambiance.

Fun stop. Enjoyed the history of the hotel and the area. A&W next door was a treat.

Overall enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. This historic hotel was quite different from chain hotel offerings. Front desk staff was friendly, attentive, good. Room and hotel were very clean. Bed, king, was very comfortable I did not use the bar area, but people there seemed to having a good time. Hotel “vibe” was terrific, fun, and with attention to detail. Small concrete parking lot next to entrance was convenient. Location was great. My room did not have a microwave or small fridge. Ice bucket in room , but not ice machine. Getting ice from bar or restaurant can be challenging as these sources are busy. Admittedly this is nitpicking, but the bath shower curtain acted like it was possessed! Flew all over the place. Maybe this is where the spooks hang (pun) out. I was on a motorcycle and with concrete parking full, forced into the other lot, a marginal dirt/loose gravel one behind the building. Not a good option for any vehicle. I did not try the hotel restaurant. I think this hotel is good choice if the small inconveniences are not too bothersome.
